Quick tip, try aiming for and taking Iron Ressource provinces for yourself. They give a flat +10 Armor to chaos warriors and chosen, which can get absolutely stupid once you have a few of those provinces 😂

Taking Temple of Heimkal from the Goromandy for the Iron won't work. You only get one building slot in minor settlements and for port cities the port automatically takes the slot and prevents building the resource building.

I'm actually not a big fan of Abby. They're similar in that they're both trapped as the champion of the Chaos Gods, unwittingly doing their bidding, and that the gods seek to undermine them despite giving them power, but beyond that? Archaon has a clear goal in mind - destroy all the gods. He destroyed the world, but it didn't destroy the gods as he thought it would. So he will try to do the same to all the worlds, as many times as he needs to. Conversely, I just don't think Abby knows what the heck he wants his 'free mankind' concept to actually look like. It's just a lot of big talk. I think they're both really just after revenge - it's all about revenge. But Archaon full embraces and recognizes this, whereas Abby tries to hide behind a lot of self-aggrandizing rhetoric. I also vastly prefer Archaon's design. It's a lot more simple, metal-album cover-like, but somehow Abby looks way more generic to me by comparison. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.

Since tribute from Vassals is based on a percentage of their gold per turn, factions such as Khorne and the Beastmen make poor choices to give large amounts of territory to since they generate little to no income other than their special AI cheat income. It's better to leave such vassals with only a single settlement just so they contribute to the faction bonus and give the majority of territory to more profitable factions (giving port territories to norscan vassals is a prime example). At this point it will be hard to get that Dark Fortress away from your Khorne vassal, but you should look for ways to do so since a Dark Fortress is far to valuable a resource to leave in the hands of such a low value vassal. You can always vassalize Skarbrand and leave him with a non-dark fortress provincial capital later on to eventually allow for recruiting high tier Khorne units (even this isn't that big of a concern as you can get the high tier Khorne units as Gifts of the Gods units via souls so having them available through a vassal just allows you to use the 4 allied units per army cap in conjunction with the limit of 6 Gods gifted units per army to stack up units you really like).

Personally I value the allegiance and access to outpost units a lot higher than a couple of dark fortresses. They won't build the good stuff in minor settlements. Waiting for 3/4 of the campaign to be able to have enough soul income to get all the units you want is too long for my taste. Efficiency has to take a back seat to a good show.

What are your rules for hero names, if you take them Thurmünd Bjòrnvak for a exalted hero of khorne, He's a Lord for my Khorne army and he has been a monster, Killing lords, Mincing units and all around just making Khorne proud

For heroes, I usually give them a few episodes worth of chances to perform a legendary feat and keep their generated name, otherwise I take from the suggested pool of names. If they perform a crazy feat they can become a legendary character (added to my list of recurring characters). On the list! Sans umlaut or accents, though.
