Chaos Sorcerer Lords of Death Lore and Shadow Lore have the options of being Nurgle Sorcerer Lords of Death Lore or Nurgle Lore or Undivided Daemon Princes (has Lore of Fire). Once they become a Nurgle Chaos Sorcerer Lords of either Lore they can further upgrade to a Daemon Prince of Nurgle (mixed Lore of Death and Nurgle). Chaos Sorcerer Lords of Fire Lore and Metal Lore have the options of being Tzeenth Sorcerer Lords of Metal Lore or Tzeentch Lore or Undivided Daemon Princes (Lore of Fire). Once they become Tzeentch Chaos Sorcerer Lords of either Lore they can further upgrade to a Daemon Prince of Tzeentch (mixed Lore of Metal and Tzeentch) Chaos Sorcerer Heroes of any Lore have the option to devote to Tzeentch (lore of Tzeentch) or Slaanesh (lore of Slaanesh). Sorcerer Heroes of Fire and Metal lores also get the option to become Tzeentch Sorcerer Heroes (lore of Metal) and Sorcerer Heroes of Shadow and Death Lores also get the option to be Slaanesh Sorcerer Heroes (lore of Shadows). Chaos Lords can become Chaos Lords of Khorne, Chaos Lords of Slaanesh, or Undivided Daemon Prince (becomes a spellcaster with lore of fire). Once devoted to Khorne they can further become a Daemon Prince of Khorne or if devoted to Slaanesh become a Daemon Prince of Slaanesh (becomes a spellcaster with a mixed lore of Slaanesh and Shadow lores, this is only option to obtain Slaanesh aligned generic caster lord) Exalted Heroes can devote to either Khorne or Nurgle. There is no pure melee generic hero options for Tzeentch or Slaanesh.

I'd love to see Archaon with just a massive block of undivided chosen matching up the field as chaos knights sweep around the flank. There's so many themed army possibilities, Archaon's can just be a black armored wrecking ball!

Also i find really thematically appealing that Ghuletor was not able to ascend further into nurgle's (due to his level in game) so he decided to take a Slaanesh fortress to prove himself worthy of grandfather nurgle's embrace

What lords and heroes can turn into is not random. Slaanesh and Khorne for chaos lords, Nurge and Tzeentch for chaos sorcerer lords. Exalted hero has Khorne and Nurgle, Slaanesh and Tzeentch for the sorcerer heroes.

17:00 It's not random, just limited in which lord/hero types can get which marks. Tzeentch gets both sorcerers, Slaanesh gets sorcerer heroes/combat lords, Nurgle gets combat heroes/sorc lords and Khorne gets both combat characters IIRC. I'd definitely say keep those resources. More physical resist for the hounds of decay sounds fun and unless I got really unlucky, it seems like gifting settlements to the dawi zharr just turns them into outposts anyway, so Uzkulak would be wasted.

Hmm, interesting. I hadn't considered what the settlements would turn into when gifted. This... is going to take some doing, then. If they don't have a citadel, they won't be able to build their good troops. And we want to borrow those.

I think he had Unbreakable + Regen there. He isn't quite on that level yet here, but yeah, he's gonna be incredibly scary regardless.

I really hope the other three Champions of Chaos survive long enough to be confederated. Chaos needs massive amounts of armies to spread all over the world. Your Nurgle army under Ghuletor sure proved its worth, Nurgle armies tend to be really strong for Warriors of Chaos. I'd love to name some units, but I'll hold off for many another episode or two so I can better prep my mind for the influence of the Ruinous Powers.

@@RuinousInsight When you try to vasaal Zhatan you need to check that his last settlement is a citadel. Uzkulak is the Capitol of Astragoth so if you give him this settlement he may build a citadel.

Definitely keep the territories and force the Chaos Dwarves into the mountains. Yes, you might need to feed them more territory, but your faction needs those buffs more than you need a strong vassal. After all you can just feed him more territory to increase his might.

It's happened here and there, though mostly settlement defenses. The troll army in the Taurox campaign did rout into a loss. But a big part of the meta game is fighting battles on your terms, so it does make sense it happens rarely.
