To get into EMF mode have the bottom switch in the center. Don’t press any other buttons on the PKE, and you’re good. Try holding it up to a light switch. It goes crazy for those

@sovereign41 i did a bit of searcbing and found articles called pke meter in star trek but couldnt find any images, theres something bout a modified proton pack being used supposedly in the tng episode with scotty in it and then i believe in star trek 6 they use a device that looks like a modified giga counter which was aparently the larger meter device used by egon in ghostbusters 2. But the main thing is that these items most likely came from a props warehouse and after modifications, or not lol, have been used in other places.
