If you mean the behemoth that appears outside the light, you need a sentinel robot monster from the sewers of the last section. It isn't easy to get, but does make the battle possible. I did this because I could never follow the light properly.

Trick to beating bosses like this with ease when you are low level is: to fight any monster you see and level up Serah and Noel crystinum (cant spell it). Level up Serah's Ravager and Noel's Commando, and when you get to the extension make sure you pick the Ravager or Commando level boost so that they can have more variety of skills. Don't worry about increasing accessory capacity and increasing ATD until you get lv 99 Ravager Serah and lv 99 Noel.

But make sure that you do pick unlock medic role for Serah before you max out her Ravager level, she is a very helpful Medic. Then focus on her medic role and increasing increasing accessory capacity and increasing AT. Increase Noel's Sent role next. Or get the Lightning story dlc get 5 stars on all opponents and get her as commando and max her out.

no those games are simple to make like FFIX or FFVII they had great plots but also perfect opportunity to run around and do other things if u wished, while 13 had a good plot but u never could go elsehwere till way late in the game and this one just doesnt have enough plot.. well plot that is good lol
