The most important thing on the Hasselgren racing 1900cc STROKER TWINCAM Engine, is the OIL PUMP. BUT, they have used a standard Water pump did some modification on it with more fast water flow of coolant run around shelf bore better cooling temperature at higher rpm. The Oil pump may electronic system, that helps the engine to not suffer by bearing knock, mean getting better oil circulation at higher rpm, give more power 240 bhp plus.. But, there are drawback from this, they can only run in a race application for 6 to 7 times, thereafter the engine must totally strip apart because after races have done, the engine has totally ran it's course for track us only, but it's not a day to day running about engine. My opinion is that it wasn't using the right engine oil or even the additives could hold on principle of helping to lubrication in metal wearing inside the engine. Main, Trust bearing where totally fried and scrolling the cranshaft, oil and compression rings where toasted.

There called stand-off injections. Supposed to mix and atomize the fuel better. Not good for low rpm though.
