Hello, as far as I understand your battery is 100 ah and how much does it weigh in kilos? I also have an intex mariner 3 and I bought a dft 54 ​​lbs electric motor and a 100 amp gel battery to power it. The weight of the battery is 30 kg. and I am afraid that this weight will damage the floor of the mariner 3. What is your experience with this?

This engine is very qiuet, you would not hear anything but a splash of water :) Literally nothing!

hello I use the same with 60 amp batteries, but do you know what the reason is at the 5th level until the 5 levels of the device are over?

I'm thinking in buying one of these trolling motor from Haswig Osapian 40 lbs for my intex mariner 4... with a battery of 110 or 125 Amp... Was uncertain beetwin a 2,5 hp outboard motor and 40 lbs eletric motor... Your work is helping me to decide... I navigate in sal water here. I wonder if you are still happy with it? if you any problem with the engine? Thanks

Thank you for your comment, the motor and battery worked very well till the last summer. Last summer I lost this equipment during the sudden storm in the marina. But I can fully recomend you this trolling motor, worked well for 4 of 5 sesons.

@@pbanaszczyk Thank you for replying. I'm sorry to know that you lost you equipment due a storm... If you dont mind to give me some kure information about your experience with that equipment, I would like to know if you used it to sail at sea or in lakes and ask you how the mariner 4 and the electric motor reacted with opposite water currents, something that we have at sea depending on the tides. I live in the south of Portugal, in the Algarve, and here you don't see boats equipped with electric motors you know, not usual..., and acquiring the electric motor via internet, I have no way of trying it out beforehand. Ooo mam ten sam ponton :) I silnik tej samej mocy. Ponton bardzo wygodny, ale jesli chcesz plywac szybciej musisz zmienic na taki ktory wejdzie w slizg. No i oczywiscie kupic silnik spalinowy. Ten ponton ma ma kadlub pypornosciowy - typowy do wioslowania. Nawet jak zalozysz silnik spalinowy 10HP i tak szybciej niz 7-8km/h nie poplynie...
