I complimented River on another of his videos a few months ago, about how much preparation must go into the making of one, all the thinking about what he's going to say, and he pretty much said he just wings it, that the conversation just comes naturally without a lot of forethought, and to me that makes what he does even more impressive. Such a calming voice. River knows what ASMR is all about.

More of a deep immersion in character than I've ever seen in any other ASMRtist. Totally real conversational style, and he makes it look so easy, but it's not easy. He actually seems to be sitting across from someone and carrying on a conversation, but there's only us. And the original things he says for each hat, hardly ever repeating himself. Awesome. This must take a huge amount of thought and preparation. Thank you.
