The split/steal thing was poorly thought out. The reason why it works in other situations is because both participants have something to gain and they don't want to lose out on it. In this situation, there is no reason either team WOULDN'T select steal. If the team which is behind selects split, they either fall further behind, or remain the same distance. If the team that's ahead selects split, they either allow the other team to catch up or remain equal. Whereas if the losing team selects steal, they either get all the points, or remain unchanged and the winning team either gives away all the points or things remain unchanged. There is no incentive for either team to share, because sharing just ensures the status quo remains. If they got something for the number of points at the end of the game, it'd be worth it to share because they'd both profit, but when the points only matter in relation to each other, splitting is not in anyone's interest. Other than that, I loved it! Great stream!

The split or steal thing seems actually worthless cause whoever is winning will just write steal

It's heavily flawed, the whole points of the split or steal thing is that it is always mathematically better to steal, but if you can socially agree to split you can both walk away with money. This doesn't work in this because the amount of points doesn't matter, it's just who wins. If you both agree to steal nothing happens, if you both agree to split also nothing happens. No-one has any reason to split, as both teams worked out.
