I'm with Smith on the dreams thing, I'm in my mid 30s and I've not had any nightmares since I was very young. I've had less than pleasant dreams but never anything where I felt scared or upset. Closest I've been to having an emotional response to a dream was a couple of months back where I had a dream involving my recently deceased father, it wasn't a bad dream by any means but I did have a bit of a cry when I woke up. Despite this I did feel better for it because I haven't had much of an emotional response to the whole ordeal since the day after he passed and it felt a little bit like closure and made me feel less like a cold, emotionless monster.

The Brisbane flooding situation is a classic issue of no foresight with building. Many parts of the city are prone to flooding and have been properly flooded multiple times in the past century, and yet none of them were built, and still aren't being built to deal with it. A house built on big stilts may not be aesthetically pleasing, but it is extremely practical in an area that floods every couple of decades. All of this loss that we've seen from these floods and it could be avoided if housing was built for the climate it sits in. Brisbane is largely built on a literal swamp, but the givernment acts surprised when it floods. I'm in a suburb in Brisbane that is currently going through a MASSIVE development boom, gentrification out the wazoo. And I just look at them building these big new unit complexes on fields that are natural floodplains. They take precautions to make sure the complex itself might not flood so easily, but all of the water that used to go through there to reach the waterways has to go somewhere. I'm waiting to see which poor bastards in the neighbouring area lose their houses next time a flooding event happens because now the water is forced to go onto their property instead of it's natural route. As for the people who move in to the new complex, they're quite likely to get locked inside of it whenever we flood next, as most of the roads around that area are prone to flooding too.

it's hard to hear the term "soft play area" and not think it's some sort of fetish. I was at a kink convention and there was literally a "wet and messy" room that was entirely covered in tarp as it was for electric play, oil and jello, food fights... "soft play area" was probably down the hall.

Smith if your looking for a dog breed that doesn't have the health issues of most breeds look at Lupine dogs, it's exactly what the breed is doing, it's the dog as nature intended 😊

don't hear them laughing about holding wires and touching something wet, electricity grounding through you can kill you. My brother and his buddy were working on an Army jeep in S. Korea and the whip antenna came loose and fwapped up against a power line. Bruce was insulated by thick rubber soled Army boots and only had nerve damage in his feet most of his life, his buddy had on sneakers and instantly died. Electricity is not a toy. Even in a fetish setting you need to know what you're doing and keep it non-dangerous.

“Orlando FreeFall” - I’ll describe it so you don’t have to watch / hear it. It is of a 14 year old boy who was overweight and exceeded the weight limits of the ride. It is one of those dropper style rides where it takes you up insanely high and then you free-fall down. Basically, he wasn’t strapped in correctly because he was ultimately too big for the harness, so on the descent of the ride, instead of free-falling securely in the seat, he slipped out the seat and fell to his death, and you hear the thud of impact and also unfortunately see his lifeless body. It truely is as disturbing as Ross said, so if you can’t handle that stuff I’d advise maybe not watching this one!

It's not a climate ghetto, it's a bunch of young people trying to get houses they want instead of making good decisions with lesser houses that will actually be profitable when they sell.
