Make sure you watch both parts of the Connections class! You want to make sure that Frank is finished! If you are using Embird, there is an Embird class, too.

I have watched this video when I first bought Hatch in late 2018 and because I was so new to embroidery and digitising, did not really grasp the basics of optimising, connections and trims. I still am a little frustrated when I make too many trims and do not know how to get rid of them; this is the only clear video that actually shows me how to correct the unnecessary trim. It is only now with a couple of years worth of watching and trying to desperately understand the triangles, circles and jump stitches, that this video makes sense to me! I have had so many people tell me what these symbols mean, but never have actually shown me how to correct it within a design. When all is said and done I needed a visual lesson in order to be able to see it in action. So with a heartfelt thanks for Frank and your wonderful tution Sue, I can now understand how to correct my design and hopefully put it into practice. I know I will make mistakes but at least I can watch Frank again and watch and learn.
