Trott: "You're flying now and taking liberties with the concept of 'hovering'" Also Trott: "Would you have your legs sawed off if you could *fly* and hover instead?"

Feeling hydrated is not a right but having access to water is. Same goes for happiness. Happiness is like a unit of measure.

I think that's a very good way of putting it.

But what's access to happyness

Happiness is excited mental state and cannot be maintained indefinitely. It is useful to find a variable state that you can maintain for a long period of time. It may be convenient to choose known presets or find it yourself however most people just end up in the same place anyway. It is a loaded question usually followed by another loaded question and a lecture.

The ending of the intro gave me vibes similar to Ross’ keyboard solo from the YogCon show.

My dad and me had a conversation about money a while back and I feel it applies somewhat to happiness. Money doesn’t buy happiness but if for example you won the lottery it does simplify your life somewhat depending on your lifestyle. Suddenly that job you have to go to becomes part time or maybe not at all. I do think though the ceiling for happiness is raised and if you are rich attaining happiness is harder. For example I bought myself an iPad Air last year, saved for it and worth the cash. A rich person able to buy it with just a hand wave may not attain that same level of happiness or fulfilment from it. I do believe everyone deserves to be happy but personal happiness is a fickle thing and only the one experiencing their life can truly determine if they’re happy.

good to hear from you boys. Thanks for being you so i don't have to be me :)

Do you have a right to be happy? No. A right is a legally defined privilege based on basic physical needs and societal norms but you can't legally define happiness because it is such a loose concept. For example - if you have a person with some kind of antisocial personality disorder where they can only feel happy while inflicting misery on others, does that give them the right to make others unhappy?

They say mo money mo problems. I see that it doesn't guarantee happiness as a rich person still has stresses. With financial independence and stability reduces stress especially in days like thus with high inflation and fuel poverty. However happiness can be found from within by being grateful for what we do have compared to others

do not want to mentally buy things by thinking about it. What if you see a delicious cake in a display and think, wow that looks delicious. Except you just now bought the cake because you thought about wanting it. What about all the things that are advertized by putting a sexy woman next to them whose presence has nothing to do with the item. People may have noticed how many ads there are about "solar panels through programs in your State!" that inexplicably have a fashionable woman in full makeup. Suddenly you're horny but you also bought solar panels.
