Picked up a Pakistani knockoff Triple Threat last year. Looks and performs *phenomenally* for ~200 USD. The round-trip flight alone cost me less than the MSRP of the one made by Chiappa. I seriously suggest to anyone, if it's feasible, to go to Pakistan and hit as many markets as you can, it is impossible to regret it.

Just FYI, it's not a "license" that you get in advance. I'll dispel a few common myths. There's a cliche that you need to have a "squeaky clean" background to buy one. That's not true. They have three same background standard as any gun: no felonies, no domestic assault, not a fugitive from justice, not a drug abuser, etc. If you've ever filled out a standard 4473 to buy a gun from a shop, then you're already familiar with that started. Here are the basic steps to own one: Buy one online, and have it sent to your local "Class 3 Dealer". When it arrives, go into the dealer and start the paperwork. The dealer will tell you how to get the necessary fingerprint cards and photographs. Using a Silencer Shop dealer will make that part easier. Write a check for $200 to the government and submit your paperwork. Send an extra copy of the paperwork to your local sheriff. Wait. Then wait some more. Keep waiting. Digital copies of the paperwork usually take a few months (something a few weeks, it's kinda random). Paper cups of the paperwork can take over a year in some cases (again, kinda random).
