To fly faster you need to look at your settings, for me it's the shift button and you can get different skins by being hatched from other players. Hope you continue to enjoy playing

lol not bad for your first go at it. You have to reach 100% Twice to be an adult and the its passive grow for a few weeks to reach elder at the moment. You can start flying from the ground at around 150% GROWTH and you can use space to slow down to land. lol I will give you a sub for that try.

*Hi, I have over 2k hours on this game here’s some tips from a PvP player:* You’ll never die to fall damage, it just lowers your HP. If you ever fly into a tree press F so you can bounce off of it and take less HP damage or resume flight. Join a clan in the Small Clan PvP server Molten Mountain rn so you can learn how it works, the game is too inactive to have its Solo Player server running. If you don’t join a clan you’re most likely going to have a shitty experience growing and likely uninstall. If you wanna keep soloing only play SS. It is OP right now with its infinity cloak, just make sure you always have 30% stam when leaving a fight. This is so you can re-cloak if you make a mistake twice and tree fly to get away from a swarm while cloaked. You can grow pretty much cloaked the whole time which you need to use to your benefit. As a solo you don’t wanna play anything other than an SS because you are wasting your time. This is a clan based game in its current stage so growing an IR and FS is not useful to you and will only leave you butt hurt because you’re new and don’t know how to fight. FS is a tank dragon that needs buddies with it and IR is a suicide to finish off kills in caves dragon. Both of them take about 3 hours to grow so don’t waste your time and energy if you’re not in a clan with those two. I also highly recommend figuring this game out on a PvE server before going to a PvP server and wasting your growth time just to die to spawn killing or half way through growing your shit buddy. I’m just tryna look out for ya haha. Sick ass video btw ✨

Tips You have to press the fly button once the dragon starts falling after the jump not during the jump itself. Be careful when wandering as a baby since many areas of the map don't have food atm (there's going to be more food spawns in the next update) and going too far from your spawn before learning the map can lead to losing your dragon to starvation. Mushrooms make you sick but it takes a lot of them to have any really bad effects. You can sleep with Shift/R to make the sickness wear off quicker. The particular dragon that you are playing is fairly strong and the babies are often targeted by toxic players who want to suppress the population. So take cover when resting if you can otherwise the scouts you saw flying around will take note of you. There's other tabs in your menu that can display stats, lineage, etc. One of them allows you to choose mutations to customize your dragon. The dragon that outran you in the beginning likely had the Agile mutation. Holding shift accelerates your flight and holding space slows it.
