Hatchmaking Kiosk Tutorial | Wizard101

This is an overview and tutorial of the Hatchmaking Kiosk in Wizard101. This feature was added to the game two years ago as an easier way for people to make good pets.

How come when I hatch with different pets I only get MY pet Hatched and not the pet in the kiosk?

Its 50% chance you get your pet and 50% chance you get the pet from the kiosk that you hatched with

@@kadenbruha8892 it means everytime you hatch theres a 50 percent chance it cant be that once you get yours back the 2 nd time you’re definitely getting the one in kiosk. It’s a coinflip

Yeah, they upped the pet hatching cost significantly, so that's just something we'll have to deal with.

Hey man I need clarification, so you buy a piggle because its cheap for the hatching proccess - you hatch with the pet you want, then you train that one (a new piggle?) to adult and you repeat the proccess until you max out on stats - then when you get max stats, you just hope that you get the pet you are trying to hatch with?.

You aren't necessarily trying to max out the stats. You're trying to match the stats and talent pool of the person you're hatching with. So, for example, if the talent pool on the pet you're hatching with has "epic, rare, ultra-rare, common, common, rare, common, common" then you'd want yours to match that before you take it to mega. Sometimes, you may feel your pet is close enough so you give it a shot and it works. That's fine too!

So I'm trying really hard to get the pet that I'm not hatching with and I get the same pet every time. Any tips?

Hey bro, patience is key in pet training. The best method for training a pet is starting with something like a first generation piggle, who has stats that are easy to get rid of, and hatch with the pet that has the talents you want. Then you level that up to adult, hatch with the pet you want again, then level the next pet to adult and keep doing that until you get an exact copy of the pet you originally hatched with and take that pet to mega at which point hoping, praying and wishing is your best bet. :p

Thank you! ♥️ I actually finally got the pet I wanted I was actually training with a crown pet and that's why I kept getting not getting the pet I wanted. I had to hurry up and train my pet before the double XP too :) I'm pretty pleased with it. 😛

Tyler Friedrich howd you get the pet you wanted when you hatched with it? I just tried the first time yesterday to hatch my woodwork golem pet with a forlorn sabertooth and got my pet back, so was it just luck that after a couple tries or so you got the pet you wanted?

@@mikecapalungan basically what I did was, I took a pet with a mid pedigree that was not a crowns pet and kept hatching with the pet I wanted from the kiosk until i got that pet. It also helps if the pets are the same school, also if you get the same pet you used to hatch, train the new pet if the pedigree is higher. You'll get your pet eventually.

Quick question: What does getting your pet to ultra even do? Does it give it an extra talent, or does it upgrade the talents your pet already has or something? I’m conflicted on wether or not I should upgrade one of my pets to ultra because idk if it’s worth it or not

Ultra allows you to socket certain jewels that could potentially add significant boosts to your pet's talent pool. Also, when you reach ultra, you are awarded a jewel that, when socketed, can boosts your pet's stats.

If u hatch does it change the pet like if u had a 🐷 and u wanted a pet with storm blade could u get the blade

Wait, so when you buy a pet, for example 100k gold, you don't actually hatch the pet you wanted?

You hatch with the pet you want from the kiosk, but you won't always get that pet. Keep hatching until you get it.

@@dacarei Some will. You keep hatching and training to adult until the pet you have matches exactly the pet you hatch with. Then you can be confident it will get the stats you want.

I have a fenris fire pet with critical stricker (7%) should I hatch with a raging bull with good stats, It’s too long too list but what will the resulting pet be, the fenris or the raging bull? Is there even a way of knowing?

I’ll probably feel really stupid if someone tells me an obvious answer but I just spent 100,000 gold on a pet and it just gave me an identical pet of the one I was going to hatch with and it didn’t give me the one I wanted(Frosty Eye). Can anyone tell me what happened?

Some pets are more sticky than others, best to start out with a starter pet and advance from there.
