I have that monkey...I would never sell my "monkey man". I originally got it in a yard sale for my partner. He loved it. We used to put him somewhere different every week. It's become one of my memories of him... that and his cologne. 😢

A good friend of mine had monkeys like that wooden one hanging from her ceiling when we were kids. Her mom had painted a tree and they were all hanging from it--so cute! That was back in the early 1970s.

I AGREE...bald and beautiful. I lost my long blonde hair dyed dishwasher blond due to chemo. Now it's growing back brownish brown short and curly. due to chemo.

You will probably lose the curls after a year or two. At least I did :( I’ve always had slightly wavy hair, but as I wear my hair quite short (not shaved!) the only time I see the waves is when my hair needs a cut! And I started dying it again!!!

The sale where you bought the table was the cats jammies! There was so much stuff I wish you would have picked up! Like the plug in picture, [cord simple fix]; the vintage cards, etc. That lamp with the little girl, may have been worth a look up. It looks like a creation of a popular artist back then. Those wizard candles were all the rage in the 70s. Thanks for the blast from the past tours you take us on!

Just a thought ..there were a set of silver candlesticks where you picked up the heart sticks. They looked to be sterling even though in poor condition you could sell them for $35 to $40 if they were sterling on EBay. A quick look on the bottom for the sterling mark on the base would let you know.
