People always bitch about their favorite band not being around anymore, while bands like Crowbar are still around and kicking ass. Do yourself a favor, whenever Crowbar comes to town go see them! Kirk and Crowbar have stood the test of time. They never had a period where they sucked or were mediocre. Crowbar made it through all the trends while making some of their best music.

It’s actually insane how great their sound has aged. Zero and Below was an incredible album and still heavy as shit. No other band on earth that was formed in the 80s still sounds as good as they do while being heavy.

I seen them late last year. They still set up all thier own gear & Kurt's wife still sells the merch....same as when I seen them for the first time in 1998. Still sounded heavy as fuuck too. I will never miss a Crowbar show. Ever.

Even in the 90’s plenty fans of hardcore were also fans of Crowbar. I remember seeing lots of them wear Crowbar shirts to local shows. They’re about as close to hardcore as a sludge metal band has gotten.

I went to college in SW LA. Saw crowbar countless times, but never with a hardcore crowd. While the energy is definitely there, I'll never understand the hardcore mosh or whatever you call it. Looks spastic and ridiculous. Candiria at HOB NOLA is the first and only time ive witnessed a hardcore crowd in person. Great show by Candiria though.
