Saw them last night at the Sinkhole, and that set made this look like ordinary band practice. The guitarist moved as if he was fighting off a troop of invisible baboons, but he didn't miss a note. Afterwards, the drummer played another set with Chepang. I had to reconsider my ideas about the limits of the human body.

I was discussing on Facebook that bands have no reason to sit stuck at home doing NOTHING during this pandemic. Rather than sit around wishing they were playing shows again, bands need to become proactive in finding ways to work around this pandemic. I understand the frustration of not being able to play shows. The idleness leads to desperation and discouragement, and next thing ya know the band breaks up. These dudes here in BANDIT are Busy. My hat's off to them with much respect! This band is Siiiiick! \m/ I understand that it still may not be safe to play large-crowd concerts again too soon, but we can still do things the right way and Safely put on a show with a small audience while keeping distant and wearing masks. Of course the band has to sing and perform, and so wearing a mask interferes with the singing. Even during a pandemic lock-down, bands can STILL GET SHIT DONE. I play drums in a garage-rock/old punk band in Albany NY, The VaVaVoodoos... As a band member I understand what's at stake. My band mates and I feel the same: Get Busy. Stay Busy. We're not gonna let a pandemic hold us back and we're not gonna jeopardize the safety and health of our fans. But we're Gonna continue to put our music out by way of videos, demos, a smartphone tweet, whatever. And you don't have to break the Bank to do it. Even a rehearsal jam is good publicity. This band here is setting a perfect example of being BUSY getting their music out to their audience, even during this pandemic and all its lock-downs and restrictions, no matter where you are. Love these guys, they're Killin It! Kudos to this band BANDIT for not giving up and for not remaining idle. By doing this, the band is keeping their fans up to date and informed of what the band is doing to stay busy. As a fan and as a follower I appreciate it when my favorite bands stay busy like this and have something to show. Because if a band is out of sight, it becomes Out Of Mind.

Such a killer band. The guitar player is a whiz. Their live set was one of the most positive experiences I’ve had at a show, they just seemed to take the tension out of the room and make things fun again. Love that their lyrics are about managing / overcoming mental illness
