The band is so good. You should be aware that just because they are such good musicians, the concerts are just great. They always have to play perfectly at the pace, they never get lost. I think it's great that such good musicians are also open to concerts like this. Without them there wouldn't be these great concerts with Hatsune, that's all I wanted to say.

@@XxNbslayrxX That's not entirely true, there are factors that only come into play when you want to perform with Voceloud. I cover songs myself and plan to play guitar with Miku at conventions (without guitar accompaniment). Normally no band Ultra Perfect plays the song at the same tempo from start to finish, if you run a metronome you realize it doesn't match the percet at the end. But that doesn't matter because the musicians correct that and nobody cares if the break is a bit too short when everyone starts at the same time, but that's different with the Voceloid. the musicians have to play perfectly, that's the impressive thing and not everyone can do that. I hope I've conveyed what I mean to some extent Furthermore, one can also say that not every musician feels like singing on a pc, it is very static, difficult to explain

I got so surprised whenever Miku sung this. Cause I would of never expected her to sing this live. But, I enjoyed it very much! I'm so happy that she sung it since it's one of my fav Vocaloid songs. Of the different versions of Hated by Life Itself that I’ve heard, this felt the most emotional to me. I think it was not just Miku’s vocals remaining soft and comforting throughout the song to emphasize emotion, but also how the band builds up the song, getting louder over time, making the song slowly get more energetic and hopeful, while getting quieter to emphasize some parts.

I had never heard this song until the concert. Listening to the original, I realized this performance and arrangement is one of the best embodiments of "why I love Miku concerts and Vocaloid" that I've ever seen. The way new life is breathed into the arrangement, everything from additional string parts, to the Amazing grooves, the beautiful piano, driving bass and phenomenal guitar choices is an actual testament to how beautiful these concerts are for music. The fact that So much of this version had never been recorded and was arranged for the sole purpose of this band to play it at this concert, yet it's so incredibly beautiful is nothing short of amazing. It could easily pass as an original version to the song The arranger of MM2020 and the band has made 2020 my new (tied) favorite Magical Mirai, which I personally never thought would happen since 2013

Was watching a live broadcast of MM2020 when this song came on. Had never heard it before, thought it was absolutely beautiful. Never looked at it the same way after looking up the lyrics, though. I’ve said it before but I will say it again, this song is really beautiful, but the fact that Hatsune Miku just sang a song about depression and interpreted it in a deeper perspective just struck me to the core. I haven't seen her concerts before, so it was cool to see this clip adter having wondered about them for years. The live band was really unexpected and I'm impressed by their performances. It's also a nice arrangement of the song, but I'd never realized that the Magical Mirai songs were like covers of the original songs in this way! It gives a very strange feeling, like this is a pop artist's cover of one of my favorite songs. And while it's not a bad cover, it feels very watered down and commercialized and emotionally flat. The extreme warbling inhumanity of the tuning of her voice in the original is one of its strongest musical elements and I was disappointed not to get to see it performed out when that seems like such a compelling and unique possibility. That artificial voice also managed to hit a lot of really amazing emotional highs that show a vocal synth's potential to match a human singer's emotive potential while displaying something unique to a vocal synth and really enriching music as a whole. This Miku, tuned to sound more like an ordinary human performer, feels amateurish by comparison, an imitation chasing both styles and failing to capture the power of either. I'm also devastated that this choice has annihilated the androgyny of the original vocals- the masculine sounding Miku of the original is fascinating and this was the first song where I'd ever seen the gender bending potential of a vocal synth so fully realized. I know Miku drag is far too much to expect of a commercial concert like this, but just imagining the possibilities for a subversive performance are making me wish for a world where I could see it. The fluidity and strangeness and extraordinary futurist range that could show! That's a Miku who truly embodies the "first sound of the future" her name alludes to. It's sad to see comments from people who only know the song this way or believe that this is a particularly good display of singing. I hope that they are able to hear and appreciate Kanzaki Iori's original work and that there can be good music in their futures.
