This is Melvin's daughter Sarah. My maternal grandma was O'Retha McCoy from Kentucky. We are direct blood relation to Randal McCoy and my grandma taught me all about the feud. I am a nurse and I just so happened to work with a CNA who is a blood Hatfield. We got along great and I told her about my McCoy heritage when I noticed her last name and her deep Southern accent and put two and two together. She speaks just like every member of my mama's family except me. We are all from the South, but I'm Floridian and my dad is from Detroit so my accent is a mix lol. We used to tease each other about the feud all the time. She went "home" and made a visit here on the way to West Virginia. She loved the show and told me that I should definitely see it if I'm in the Smokiesd again. I haven't been there since I was 16, but my mama and I have Cherokee heritage and she made me promise to spread her ashes with our ancestors in the Smokies, so we are saving up for that. If I can, i will definitely take my city boy father and country girl best friend to see this!

This dinner show was very good. It was fun and entertaining. The food was really good. The only thing that was missing was some butter for the rolls with the soup, and some gravy for the mashed potatos. Everything else was excellent. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome video...we went there a few years back and everyone had a blast...food and show were both great...my kids were called up on stage too...it does get kind of expensive but with the cabin rental place that we go through we got a free ticket so that helped...I feel like we might be long lost friends too...lol...I’ve been doing low carb/no sugar/no caffeine diet for a month now and I’m about to go out of my mind...I can’t wait for the FOOD when we are there in a few weeks...I’m breaking the diet for sure!

You are the sweetest!! Really appreciate your comment and so glad to hear we have so much in common!! We have been doing keto since January and total together we are at about 90 lbs lost. It’s a battle everyday but I feel like it gets easier with time. Being here in Tennessee has been difficult on the diet but we only cheat when we go out to eat. So many delicious places to try for the first time so I would hate to regret not trying the foods while we are here! So girl live it up on vacation just make sure to hop back on when you get home. We do all keto meals when we eat at home and don’t keep anything not keto in the RV. Thanks for the support and hope you come along on our journey 💙 Happy Travels 😃

i thought it was nice. i didnt enjoy the chicken when i went there cause of how greasy it was :( i did like the brisket and corn though, and the show was also pretty cool to watch. but i didn’t like the loud prop guns

Just went last week. Honestly, this was the worst meal of the whole trip. The chicken at the late show was beyond greasy and the pork was tasteless. Everything tasted m like it was reheated from the early show.
