@MarkRiley122 жыл бұрын
Alright man, you are all over my neck of the woods in this one. Lol. Thanks for telling me about this video. For starters you are on Buffalo Creek which is where I live at. I live just above Robinette Holler which is the first trail you took that started taking you up to "Wylo" which took you to Hanging Rock and Rebel Rock. Second, Rebel Rock is a rock that has been painted by my uncle (David Riley Sr.) since the beginning back in the 90's when he first painted it. I'm actually going to have him teach me his ways of doing it this summer so I can keep it alive after he's gone. That rock is a HUGE icon in this area, it's a place that has given MANY people a place to gather and hangout for a long time now. And many may not think but for all races as well, not just whites. We have many of black people who go there to hangout also. My uncle didn't paint that rock out if being racist in any way, just out of being proud to be a southerner and a hillbilly. Rebel Rock is a place many people respect in and around this area. And I hope to carry the torch of painting it and keeping it going for many years to come. Third, there is a way to keep you from coming out at the guard shack at the mine. When you're coming down that road that used to be completely paved from top to bottom that leads you to the guard shack, when you are coming down and hit that spot that rides level for a bit, you come to a sharp curve that has a road to the right or left. The left takes you just down the mountain a little more and runs you into the mine. If you take the right it'll bring you out just up the road from the mine. Its just below that Family Dollar that you should've passed heading over to go to Flag Pole that I explained about in your other video.

That was a big journey from where I live in the uk I live at Newcastle upon Tyne on the east coast and it’s only about 70 miles to the west coast , we have nothing of that scale I like watching let’s say the easier trails compared to what you normally would ride in the bigger group as it looks more of thing i maybe able to do some day , once all my hospital appointments are finished with , take care of your health and enjoy every minute of your time as as I found it it can be taken away easy without doing anything crazy . But watching you and your family enjoying being outside in the open air enjoying life , is fantastic and gives me hope, so god bless you and your family and truly stay safe and thank you for sharing your fun 🙏🏽
