Life is an adventure. Wether it's getting caught on a train track or watching kids grow up or working your ass off for a living. It's just fun being able to sit back and reminisce down the road. It's up to you how you live it to enjoy it. I AGREE about taking things for granted. Pennsylvania now has the pilot trails and you have the few that abuse it. Frustrates me to no end. Keep on riding and enjoying life's adventures. Thank you for" keeping it real ".

This was a great video, brings back memories. Wife and I were at HM the exact same weekend, I remember finding out Braveheart closed and our plans changed. We were going to stay 3 days at Ashland Resort and then head north and stay 3 more at Twin Hollow. I had planned it for months, knew where the horses were and was going to find the elusive mountain goat on Devil Anse , even had all my restaurants planned out. Rained the first 3 days and tons of mud on the southern systems. Like you we got a call from our daughter but she was babysitting our sick dog. She took a turn for the worst and we made a decision late at night to leave the next morning because we knew the dog was not going to make it. We drove 500 miles back to PA and got to spend some time with the dog before having to put her down. So it was not a great trip, but we did get to ride a few good trails between the raindrops. We have another trip planned for mid May. The highlight for us was riding Cabwalingo on our way down and her telling me she could drive these trails by herself and I could ride my dirt bike at the same time on our next trip. I guess the best thing I learned is that I am lucky to have a trooper for a wife like yours, not too many of them would want to stick with us on the misadventures that always seem to find us.

So sorry to hear about your dog Matthew, we had the same thing happen a few years back with our dog Max. We were at the airport getting ready to get on a plane flying back from SEMA. Our son Brady called and said Max was dying, unfortunately, we did not make it home in time. Guys like us need a good woman to put up with us. LOL. Hope y’all enjoy your next trip back to H&M! Thank you for watching and sharing your story.

Looks like a great time at the Braveheart trail system. Lots of things to see when going to the Mann Gilbert area. Really like the talk around the campfire, telling stories type of video👍🏼 We have been fortunate enough to visit most of the Hatfield McCoy Trail systems, but one of my favorites days was when we were riding with you guys to the newly opened Warrior Trail System. Not sure if you remember but we got the Police escort to the Warrior trail, and I think he even had his lights on. That day was the Maiden Voyage of the “No Turn Talon”! Hope you are all doing well, and spoil that Grand Baby! Jesse-Laura

Keep 'en it real with a fireside chat was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it immensely, especially since I didn't have smoke in my eyes. I noticed your visitor/observer and that was a very skinny bear or most probably a mountain lion. Might have been a bobcat but it appeared much larger than my Missouri bobcats. As an aside : Because of your influence I bought a '22 RMax4 Limited Edition from Yeagers in Sedalia. It is a great rig and I appreciate your on going comments.

Congratulations Brian and Melissa, Bree and her husband on there New addition. It was funny about the snacks. My wife and I took our step daughter up to H and M. I wanted to take them to Pineville to eat Mexican. We pulled into ashland , unloaded. I did not remember how far it was to Pineville from Ashland. Just FYI ,it is 30 miles by trail. We got out on the trail and after a while we stopped for a snack. Wife asked me where the snacks were. Told her I got the water, snacks were her job. Long story short, we had fun, but she was not to happy. We love H and M. We live in Statesville, NC. We ride up Bramwell and come home the same day. Go to Gilbert when we have longer weekends. Punch mines. They call them punch mines. Believe it or not, miners would tie a pick to their leg and crawl up to a mile on their belly to mine coal and would push it down past their belly and then kick it back with their feet to a guy behind them who would load the coal into a bag he had tied to his leg and then he would crawl back to the access up to a mile and there’d be a donkey with a cart that they’d dump the coal in and then crawl back in the hole and crawl up to a mile on their belly back to the first guy and do that all day
