Love these videos, but I highly recommend putting on speed dice for the next game. Speed dice ensures games go faster by upping everyone's starting capital to $2500 (making housing development/property purchases much quicker) and adding the speed dice itself which has some crazy potential. The speed dice can roll either a 1, 2, 3, bus, or moneybags (monopoly guy). If it rolls a bus, you can choose to travel the distance of either one of your normal dice, or the combined total (so if you roll a 3 and a 5, you can choose to go 3, 5, or 8). If it rolls a monopoly guy, it will take you to what your other dice rolled (if it's unowned) or it will take you to the next nearest unowned property. This ensures that properties get snatched up quickly. If you roll a monopoly guy and all properties are owned, it takes you to the nearest property owned by an opponent, which forces the rent-paying action to prevent late game drag. If you roll triples (that is, your two normal dice and the speed dice all come up the same number) you can go to ANY spot on the board. Incredibly rare since the speed dice only has 1/2/3 as numbers to hit, but it's possible. Any other combination of dice rolls just adds up the numbers for more distance traveled (so a 6, 5 and 2 will move you 13 spaces). Oh, and the special speed dice rolls (bus, monopoly guy) don't apply if you roll doubles (you just do normal doubles play). I tried it a few times last night and it definitely helps speed up the game (averaged an hour with 4 players, though the 3 were easy AI that made bad trades so YMMV). The same game settings with classic rules took almost 2 hours due to people missing dangerous properties.
