You should watch his Battlefield 2042 solo streams he’s very good. He doesn’t think he is but he is. He’s so relaxed and doesn’t let the deaths bother him, whereas smith hates battlefield for that reason, why he likes simmy shooter games.

Hello Trott, In answer to your query at the end of the video, I am indeed enjoying Hunt, which I find to be a nice casual watch at the end of a long day of sending and answering emails, and it pleases me to see you three seem to be enjoying and improving in the game as well. I hope that my response to your request to feedback has provided you with the kind of insight you desired. Best regards, Jack

Do the characters lose their hearing for a bit when shooting a bunch of rounds? It seemed like that was happening to Smith with his dual belt felt pistols. That’s a super cool detail if so.
@kevinbeck13 жыл бұрын
Yes. The more rapid you fire you become more and more deafened. The bird boss (scrapbeak) also has a mechanic while hes raging to also deafen you in the same way.
@simonmonpython13 жыл бұрын
You do lose sound after firing a lot of bullets. Similarly, getting poisoned and Scrapbeak cawing when he drops his items both cause a similar hearing loss effect.

It's a game where watching a couple of beginners guides, mainly for the pve aspect, just makes starting out much smoother. The meat and potatoes of the game is the pvp and anything that makes getting to that quicker and easier, for example learing how to quickly and quietly kill mobs and bosses, is worth at least considering. Also, hope you enjoy the game, and good luck hunting!

Try to get a lad with you. I have good fun soloing, but that's after quite a large time sink, and learning maps and how to play out extended fights. From what I've seen, communication is real fun when you get into it, and it's a lot less tense.

hahah it is a hard fps game tbh with you .. but one of the greatest, and one that with tge time and watching streamers you can learn it is basic fast... it is exciting game the problem it is time consuming lol and I mean by that the single match could last for 1 hour as a beginner in beginner lobby since everyone in that lobby still trying to figure out the game mechanic and staff and also it is hard xD ... I am 1000 hours in the game but still sometimes it is hard to win some matches lol

Cool videos. Trott has dual wield pistols which don't seem to do much. Ross has two silenced weapons which seem to limit his range of possibilities. Smith was still outside when two of them entered a building. Trott doesn't seem to look behind him to see where his teammates are at. I don't play Hunt Showdown and don't know anything about it, this is just gut-feeling.
@simonmonpython13 жыл бұрын
Matched pairs of pistols are weird in that when you use them they seemingly miss every shot or only hit the arms and lower torso hitboxes, but when other people use them the bullets gravitate towards your head and upper torso hitboxes. Two silenced weapons is fine but a bit unnecessary as a trio, the main drawback of the silencer is that it lowers muzzle velocity so that you have to lead targets a bit more, especially at longer ranges, but some of them get access to high velocity ammo which counteracts that particular drawback and comes with its own unique problems. I couldn't say anything on Smith's positioning as I play solo, but from my understanding bunching up isn't good, especially inside but so is being too far away from teammates so who knows, hopefully someone else who plays with a team can explain it more.

You guys need to learn when to back off. You were pinned between two teams. You should have run away and came around at an angle that put the new team between you and the bounty carriers. You should always be aware of sightlines, aka what angles people can see you from. Try to minimize them. You should be running, not crouching, if you are out vulnerable from more than 90 degrees. You also should be running around as much as possible in gun fights or holding angles, not sneaking around. It’s hard to ambush people aware of your presence, especially bounty carriers, so focus on not getting shot rather than not being seen. Stop using choke bombs and fire bombs as offensive weapons. Especially in close range. You often block your own sightlines. Use dynamite, flash bombs, or grenades instead. Choke bombs are mostly for putting about fires on your teammates, but otherwise mostly worthless. You are just risking getting shot throwing them in combat for very little gain (literally just coughing). Poison gas, barbed wire, and fire bombs are mostly used for dead bodies and area denial. If you just toss it blindly into a doorway it wont do much except block your own entry. They are defensive, not offensive.

Is there some kind of lore in this game, like why are there zombies, why do you need to kill and banish monsters
@simonmonpython13 жыл бұрын
There is lore yes, but its unlocked as logs in the monster manual that gives some info on the creature and then when you kill a certain amount it updates with a first hand account from various people whether they be a doctor or another hunter. Some of them are given as interview transcripts from people around at the time of the supernatural event. It's a fun way of learning about the lore and the bayou, you can access it all on the wiki I believe. You can get lore from the guns in a similar way and each of the legendary hunter and weapon skins has a little bit of information tied to them like in Darksouls.

I know alot of people are enjoying these Hunt videos and that's fine. Buuut I'm just going to throw in my opinion, which is that i find them pretty tiresome/frustrating tbh. They dont fit your 'chat & play' style and the game doesn't give you the opportunity to have fun / be funny. And then, (and in the nicest way possible), you guys aren't particularly good at the game either. The repeating of the same mistakes and/or constant lack of awareness is pretty tiresome to watch. Just my 2p.
