As much as I would hate it whilst playing the game, I do respect the makers of this game for having minimal stuff on screen to help players identify teammates and enjoy that concept whilst watching the boiks struggle.

@Sir Handel You can "repair" blacked out limbs, but yeah the damage and the effect it has on you is a great addition to the game. Not many people good enough to just run and gun in this game. :)
@christophkogler62204 жыл бұрын
@Sir Handel The health system is pretty complex. Damage wise: Broken limbs, bleeds, destroyed limbs, pain, tremors from pain. Healing: splints, bandages, surgery kits for destroyed limbs, painkillers, a bunch of injectors that provide buffs now for debuffs later. Currently, anything less than death is pretty much fully repairable, losing ~%10 max health each time it happens. I think meds are probably going to get nerfed as a whole eventually, though. BSG has said they're going for realism over fun, and being able to fully repair a gunshot wound in a few moments is not very realistic.

Even though you are just starting in these vids I quite enjoyed them. I have no idea what's going on as I've never played it and as Sips and P Flax had been playing for ages by the time I got to see them stream it, there was never any pointers or advice on why things were happening and what they were doing etc.. I'd watch more if you are playing it :)

Probably looking too much into it but Smith is way nicer.. he’s always nice and approachable, but these past two Tarkov vids, he’s been apologising and complimenting, explaining himself. Idk why I’m picking up on it so easily.
@sirBrouwer4 жыл бұрын
he tends to behave like that in certain shooter games. He gets invested in them to a point (or comes over as) so he is taking the game more serieus. It could be that this kinds of games play in to the same itch as his air soft games. the more explosive Smith comes out when he is less in to the game it self.
@geminiwriter88754 жыл бұрын
sirBrouwer this is the first time I’ve seen it and I’ve been watching the boiks since Skylands... I weirdly picked up on it in the last tarkov vid where he apologised to Ross about something menial and that he wasn’t taking the piss. I know they’re technically brothers at this point but I’ve never seen an apology for something so small. He’s a lot softer too. Maybe it’s just the game demanding more teamwork to succeed and pull through. Interesting new dynamic though.
@XvShadowsvX4 жыл бұрын
Smith gets aggravated easily by competitive games and seems to be making an effort not to get salty in order to preserve the enjoyment of the other guys.
@Helldhaz4 жыл бұрын
It's a combination of being the "leader", as in he's the most experienced out of the three so he gets to play Dad, and him really wanting the other two to get into the game so they can play it together more often (so trying his hardest to "sell" the game, and not discourage them). Also, what the others said.
@geminiwriter88754 жыл бұрын
Toothless why he’s done that nearly 11 years later is beyond me though XD but that’s what it was. Ross was the laid back more technology and film one whereas Trott is the even keel, good at games and Smith was the out there, opinionated Kermit the frog in a suit. Maybe it’s the lockdown blues? They want to strap up and wrap up and get a hotel room again with no kissing
