The sad thing is I've been ridiculed for looking at NetBSD for some obscure hardware that runs on an Arm CPU. For some reason FOSS isn't good enough for these people. Some even suggested i should stick to the proprietary linux spin that came with the machine. But these same people will ridicule windows users, especially ones that used linux before.

As much as I like my precious Linux, I often switch back to Windows, because gaming on Linux is just impossible, also at university we use some weird software that is only available for windows.

I’ve had issues when I was in college where the digital workbook and tests would detect my OS and tell me it wasn’t supported and wouldn’t let me continue unless I was on windows or Mac. Tried different browsers happened on all of them

Stay curious and try everything on the off chance you discover something new that works even better for you. Go with combos or keep it simple, whatever goes to get your workflow on. Sometimes going completely outside the box is OK. Other times the box is cosy and nice. No big. You do you. It's all good. Say it with me folks "Linux is not the best tool for video editing/content creation". People need the right tools for the right job and in this case Linux is NOT it!!! and that's perfectly fine. To the toxic members of our Linux community here's a little secret... you can use different OSs to do different things.

I don't like Windows myself but I agree as of right now it's for games it's where you have to be for the most part it's getting better with steam OS but it's not there yet oh I'll give it a couple years

Honestly, Linux Mint with Cinnamon has gotten pretty GOATed. If you aren't concerned with playing every single game out there and only Steam games without specific anti-cheat, it is a better experience than Windows 11. Which oddly enough, has been breaking a lot for me recently.

I ran across your channel it seems pretty interesting I subscribed and I'll watch more of your videos when I got more time keep up the good work the first video I watched was the I think the recent one with the small monitors portable. I think the small monitors are really cool. I know it's kind of expensive but I want to pick up a OLED 16 in portable sometime
