Stop being thick your whole life 🙄🙄. The Prophet had NO RIGHT to refuse any one from sending or accepting proposals. The fact that Ali sent a proposal is PROOF that fatima had no issue nor did her father. The problem arose because Ali ra did something incredibly stupid which was to propose to a woman from the enemy tribe to the Prophet. That angered fatima because it went against the glory of her father. Thats when the prophet said what he did and that caused Ali to not send anymore proposals. After fatima died he had four wives and 100s of bondswomen.

How about when you’ve gone through and experienced it realised how bad it actually can be when not done properly. Realised it’s encouraged between brothers without any real advice on doing properly . Seen your kids suffer, seen your daughter say she doesn’t want to marry salafi, seen your son say he doesn’t want to get married. Realised the salafi community will always turn a blind eye no matter who you go to. Walk around with holes in sisters clothes, your non Muslim parents the ones providing money for your kids clothes, constant poverty, depression , low Eemian. Relying on welfare using welfare money for other women in other countries , no life no hope . But no it’s the man’s right to wreck his entire families life. Sometimes it works but not sure how many men in 2023 can afford multiple housing, food, bills, education, clothes for multiple kids, but no let’s keep encouraging the poor and foolish with multiple wives and demonise women for not wanting it. I didn’t become Muslim to be voiceless and depressed.

What ur referring to seems to be the fault of the husband in question is it not? And in that case, the sin will be upon him. And perhaps you are right that there needs to be more education regarding this topic. With all that being said, it doesn't change the fact that it is his right.

What is the advice to those scholars and muftis who are encouraging women to take khula from their husband if they intend to do polygyny and cite evidneces such as Fatima r.a. that Ali r.a didnt do polygyny in life of fatima and cite other instance of female companions who took khula because she disliked her husband despite him beinga very righteous man and hence they cite this example and say that since the woman could fall into sin or kufr if she stays in a relationship wiht her hsuband if he takes second wife therefore it is okay for her to take khula. This kind of fallacious application of deen by certain muftis including those on Islamqa site misinforms people and encourages khula seeking woman when husbands intend to have polygamous relationship.

Muslim men continue to seek women with characteristics of the wives of the Rasul whilst they are the furthest from the Rasul (May Allah be pleased with him) himself in character. This is one of the biggest problems in Islamic marriages. It will never happen! You attract what you project.

Who precedes you in that it was for back then? It is kufr Al akbar to make the halal haram. Who also precedes you in that it is not for men's satisfaction? His responses seem self-serving, in the qur'an a wife and daughter of prophet denied her husband the right to marry and was not seen as an unbeliever for doing so. As the qur'an states it is allowed but not required or suggested to have more than 1 wife. Meaning that type of marriage won't be right for everyone and that's okay. If all are in agreement great! But if not then tough decisions may be made such as divorce and that is not ideal but is okay. Just as the man has rights in Islam so does the woman and not sharing her husband is one of them. Simply put, Allowed does not mean mandatory therefore she's not going to hell if she decides the marriage isn't right for her anymore NOR is she being an unbeliever. UPDATE: Let me simplify my msg because the responses aren't even addressing my point: NO ONE'S RIGHTS SHOULD BE TAKEN AWAY, MEN OR WOMEN. the point of my comment was that we shouldn't say a woman is going to hell or a non-believer for wanting something that she's entitled to have. One of the purposes of Islam is restore a woman's rights not take them away....she has a right to peace in her marriage AND to be treated fairly and if polygny robs her of that peace and fairness, she has a right to leave. whether or not she's allowed to put the request in Nikah depends on your school of thought, I'm not here to discuss that...but Calling her a non believer and villifying her for the rights that ALLAH gave is not right and doesn't matter who it's coming from, it's not right....you are entitled to feel what you may and so am I.

Sister may Allah bless you we should be careful when we accuse a major scholar of seeming self-serving, also what story are you referring to in the Qur'an here a wife and daughter of the Prophet denied her husband the right to marry? Also the Qur'an absolutely encourages and suggests having more than one wife which is why the Verse says "...marry (other) women of your choice, two or three, or four; but if you fear that you shall not be able to deal justly (with them), then only one", clearly indicating the origin being plurality and the exception having a single wife.
@rdflower70252 жыл бұрын
@@AhmedYousefElarabi1994 each of the wives also has the right to her own home (separate from the other wives). It can be done justly, and a Nikkah contract to allow to annul the marriage if he takes a second wife is a thing (but neither does this take the mans right away ).

@@rdflower7025 actually many scholars say that a woman can't do that because of the prophet now allowing people to make what is halal haram in their contracts. (الْمُسْلِمُونَ عَلَى شُرُوطِهِمْ ، إِلَّا شَرْطًا حَرَّمَ حَلَالًا ، أَوْ أَحَلَّ حَرَامًا) رواه الترمذي Tirmidih narrated the prophet saying: The Muslims are upon their contract conditions. Except a condition that makes what is halal haram, and what is haram halal. And Bukhari and Muslim narrated him saying (1504) . Whoever sets a condition that is not in the book of Allah, then it is nullified even if they were to set that condition 100 times.
