As I'm sure you know, Season 2 of 'Pikmin in Super Mario Bros 2' is set during the same time as Season 1, but through the eyes of Imajin, who was introduced to the series as Mario's rival in Season 1's Day 3 (Imajin is the character from Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic, who was replaced by Mario the game was reworked into Super Mario Bros 2).
This mashup shows how both versions of the same day play alongside each other, (pretty much) in chronological order.

Some small things have been changed for this version:
A shot from Imajin's story (Season 2) was remade from 8-bit into 16-bit, to keep consistency of having shots with Mario 16-bit, and Imajin 8-bit, this was the only shot from Imajin's episode to only feature Mario (8:28).
The sun did set earlier in Mario's story than in Imajin's, so here it sets earlier in Imajin's story to correct the sky's continuity (the purple skies in Imajin's shots is all new). I used the Remastered version of Mario’s episode which has the sun setting throughout.
Mario no longer steals the sleeping Birdo's clear egg (to progress to World 1-3). This is because Imajin goes to World 1-3 before Mario in this version, so the area being locked was ignored. (This wasn't a mistake as Imajin could've entered World 1-3 later in this version, as Mario and Imajin don't interact during this time, but it would've meant only seeing Mario for a while, it would also mean Mario anti-climatically interrupting his journey to Mouser, even though this is technically what happened.)
