I have to agree. Plus, F-Zero worked because of the mechanic where each racer had a health bar and can actually explode if it reaches zero or it falls off track. Mario Kart would not have that, only having the rank out to eliminate players.

Adding context: Sunny Beach is the name of the Novice Class circuit from Ridge Racer Revolution that is reused in Ridge Racer V. SSR11, or, Special Stage Route 11, is the one circuit from the Gran Turismo series everyone wants to see return, but PD has failed us time and again, except for when they remade it for GT3 and cut out a large section of the circuit. Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps is a Belgian professional race circuit with multiple FIA grades, that is also fairly complex, and fairly lengthy, at ~7km/~4.35mi. Suz-ka Intl. Racing Course is a professional racing circuit in the Mie prefecture of Japan, and has multiple configurations for different race event types and for GP/Formula/JGTC/Karting. It's full circuit is ~5.8km/~3.61mi, whereas the East course configuration that's best suited for Kart racing is ~2.24km/~1.4mi. Watkins Glen is a professional racing circuit in the small town of Dix, in western New York. It currently has two different configurations, the short course for NASCAR, and the long course for basically everything else (which includes a 'boot' section). The short circuit is ~3.9km/~2.5mi, the long course is ~5.6km/~3.5mi.
