Have you ever tried 2 get a bottle to fit the Hatsan bullboss. Sort of like the valve and assembly 4 the Airmax

They are in fact the same gun just different stocks and tube if you got the parts from an airMax possibly ordering from Hatsan USA ... How far the stock comes out on the bull boss would be my only concern as I don't own one..

@@airgunnersedge4061 I'm customizing my bull boss. I have honed the barrel out sewed it is no longer choked. I'm getting 960 ft per second shooting 34 grain slugs half inch groups at 50 + 100

Thanks for all the informative videos ​ @AIRGUNNERS EDGE. I also have a refurbished Airmax .22 and it's been fun but definitely needed some tweaking. I did the same regulator install that you did with a .25 plenum. I have a tip for draining the compression tube! You can drain the gun by slowly draining the air while connected to your fill source (at equalized pressure with the gun). The fill valve on these closes due to the pressure difference in the cylinder vs the pressure in the fill hose (similar to how the valve is forced closed by the air after the hammer hits it). If you very slowly open the drain valve on your pump or tank the pressure difference will be so small that the fill valve doesn't close! It will take some time, but you can drain the gun this way without those additional tools or being limited by the plenum size.

Yep exactly, I'm also gunna start to fill the guns 1000psi at a time with breaks in between to see of maybe the compressor filling it up in one shot is overheating the orings and causing these leaks or if it's just 2 diff guns from 2 diff manufacturers having basically the same type of issues (not exactly the same) and needing to be replaced

Hello there love your videos ! I just purchased an Airmax When I try to adjust the hammer I slide the key in the side ( I see it go in to the hole) and the 4 mm in the rear . But the screw does not want to move either way. does the gun need to be degassed to do this ?? .Also when I try to bleed the air out of the gun using your method nothing happens. Does this only work when the gun is almost empty ?? And my final question, even with a lot of force, I cant get the end cap off the shroud the shroud is starting to turn also (I need to add a suppressor ) I feel someone went crazy with Loctite when this gun was put together. I hope you get time to respond ... would be much appreciated Thanks

Tony, not sure if you ever got it figured out, but I too had trouble turning the 4 mm hammer spring bolt in the rear. I found it to be screwed in pretty tight. I eventually got it to turn a little counter clockwise then clockwise and back and forth until it was really easy. To lessen hammer spring strike I had to turn counter clockwise , NOT clockwise as it was already. When my spring tension was maxed out, as it came from factory, it was pushing a 9.5 gr pellet at 1060 fps. I eventually left it at 3 & 1/2 turns counter clockwise. If I went 4 turns the lever wouldn't catch. It then shot the same pellet at 900 fps at same tank psi. Hope this helps. Oh, this was all with a charged tank.

Greetings Brother, I have an Airmax that when I pull the trigger air hits me in the eye and the pellets in the magazine get dislodged. This is how I received it from HatsanUSA. It’s been sitting for about two months because it’s uncomfortable to shoot.. and HatsanUSA suck. Do you know why or what part could be causing the air to come back through the chamber and hit the pellets in the magazine and my face?

Just got mine, filled it....It wont fire. I've had to remove two pellets. Somehow it did dryfire but I'm not sure what I did. The normal operation of this gun is obvious. This is the second Hatsan that has broke on me. I had an blitz for a week and it broke. This one came in today from Pyramid broken....I'm so pissed. I was going to mess with the trigger but I can't remove the cheek rest (cant figure out how to) My allen keys are too short to do it assembled. Any ideas? I would really like to fix it. If I can't fix it today it's going back tomorrow and I'm done with Hatsan. Another thing, mine will not bleed trying to do it the way you show. It's at 200 bar though not sure if that's the reason EDIT: I've now determined it will dry fire. It's only when a pellet is inserted that it won't fire so I assume some safety mechanism isn't adjusted properly or is broke.

Just got a new Airmax before the Memorial Day weekend. Used it for 2.5 days and I’m digging it. Unfortunately, there is a slow leak that I noticed last night. I was done shooting at 125 bar and overnight it went to 0. Gonna call Pyramyd Air technicians today.

Hi can the big cc tank be changed for a carbon one if not will the Gladius or at44 tube fit in place?
