Great review! I really don't know why people over look Hatsan? All I hear about is FX and Daystate which is fine but people really need to take a second look at hatsan.

after the issues I've had with my blitz, ill never buy another hatsan. got maybe 3 mags out of it, then it would only shoot semi, sometimes, there was extremely deep scoring in the tube that acts as a gas tube for the piston, orings were shot, as was the piston. that was nearly two years ago, I'm STILL waiting on parts, they wont even tell me the oring size so I could fix it myself by lapping it and getting slightly larger ones. scoring was about .080 or so, on a brand new gun.

It shoots great from a bench but is very front heavy, even with a carbon bottle. This and shoddy workmanship (burrs, misaligned transfer port, factory butchered barrel index etc) were for me the reason to sell mine. Bought a Reximex Throne II and never looked back.

How strong are the barrels from flexing cuz I see there's no Barrel band and if you add a moderator I'm sure that's going to make it droop even more than it does even when you do have a barrel band I've always curious on air guns that have no Barrel band and they just have the barrel suspended out there shrouded usually not under tension how they can keep it from having POI shifts constantly.

With the sad power output of this gun you do not need to worry about barrel flex. Barrel bands usually do worse for accuracy then better. A lot of people seem to think these guns need barrel bands. They don’t. At all. In fact I usually take mine off, or cut them off.

@@chrisreilly4006 I've not came across the fact where barrel bands hurt the air gun and having a barrel that flexs every time you touch it Was good ....And when I talk about barrel flex I don't mean from the the vibration or hermonics of the shot which is bad but I'm talking about literally I can't touch the guns barrels and can move it 2" from in the direction with 1' pound of Energy And change the point of impact Or lean the gun up against the wall and that changes the gun's POI. And I prefer the barrel to be strong where I could actually pick it up by the barrel and swing it around And it stays centered.

@@gumbystown I mean.. if you’re swinging guns around by their barrel you probably don’t deserve good results from your guns. If you haven’t seen online where barrel bands are actually bad for accuracy then you haven’t searched long enough. There are plenty of guns that badly suffer from a POI shift just because you tapped the barrel and it never goes back to the same place. Having a barre flex when pushing on it is completely fine. All of my guns will do that if you press hard enough. In plenty of my testing I have found barrel bands to ruined the accuracy of my guns. If you’re looking for guns that only have barrel bands well… look at most of the higher end, most accurate guns ever made… they are without barrel bands. Including Daystate, Brocock, FX and many many others.

@@chrisreilly4006 Well different outcomes for different people I guess..... because when I grab a barrel on it a d it flexes it doesn't go back to where it was it's in a new location and I'm not talking I'm standing on it I'm just talking About just picking the gun up by the barrel or moving it over off to the side of the table... But Hey You've obviously had different results I've added Barrel bands and it improves my accuracy taking it from quarter size group down to dime size groups Sometimes And for your comment on the high end guns not having barrel bands and being the most accurate they're also the most fragile you go to any competition and you'll see nobody touch their barrel because they know it will change the impact.

Love your videos Rick. Hatsan has many really nice guns at good prices, unfortunately their Hatsan USA customer seervice is horrible. Can't justify buying a gun when you know that if something goes wrong you might as well throw it away.

I didn’t have time to put it in the video but we were able to shoot 75 yards at about 3/4 of an inch with 18 gr pellets at 100 yards we were just a little over an inch .

Great shooting Rick, I would have liked to see the high and low power levels it has. Here's the thing, For a smacking $1,000 would you rather get this hatsan or spend another couple $80 bucks and just get a bare bones FX dreamline? If it was your money and first high end pcp which would you choose?

No. Hatsan makes subpar guns and don’t back them up. The Gunnar is superior in every way.

Hey Rick, when you start to experiment with this gun. It would be nice to know how slow it will shoot. Looking for a cop that I can shoot in a metal building without poking holes I the roof. Yes, I know, don't miss. Just need enough pu ch to take out pest birds at 15 yard.. then on another day return for long range ground squirrels.

I do not believe the claim that the wind coming at you at the speed shown could make the pellet drop. Your words "coming at us just a little bit". The change in measured pellet speed on the chronograph is between 910 and 919 fps, a .99 %change. The effect of a wind speed of 10 mph on the pellet traveling at 625 mph would be as if the pellet was 1,58 % slower ie. 14 fps. I just don't get the claim that its effect could be as much as claimed at just 50 yds. What am I missing? Comments, please

Cool gun, but idk how anyone can justify 1,000 dollars for this. The Kratos performs just as well with an easy tune, and being unregulated I’m willing to bet I can shoot it better then the factor.

I saw the Factor regulated in .25 cal is way underpowered for the price. If i recall it was around 33FPE, totally unacceptable for its $1000 price range.

The country of Turkey vetoed Finland from joining NATO . Hatsan is made in Turkey. I'll buy nothing made in Turkey. Those people are not of our people. Never have been.
