I love my Jet. Do you have vid showing how to mod to tank? I literally work 24/7 and free time is hectic. I honestly don’t need another gun if can get 50 plus good shots from my Jet ( although I am salivating in anticipation of JTS release of their ThunderLance! 😆 Cheers !

@bayouflats5054 I don't make videos sorry. I build airguns mainly custom and conversion to hpa airguns. And drop block will work the main thing is that it has m12 female threads so it's able to screw on to the jet in place a the cylinder. The universal drop blocks when valve removed is a m 16.1 so a adapter with 16.1 male threads to female m12 about 2 in long if wanting to use one. The adapter nipple not supplied . Her a example videos kzbin.info/www/bejne/h2m4l2SqntNoiqMsi=Q39AbE81Fe8K5DfP. You can also buy it from him but if you have the ability to drill and tape your own adapter it be cheaper and better . From experience hope that helps you out. I leave the videos to AL

@bayouflats5054 jts air great airguns Travis Whitney is a owner build and design airguns. He also was the person that helped me start building custom hpa airguns and conversion a long time ago he's a good dude a lot of jts stuff is based off Crossman Benjamin marauder discovery design with add improvement you can see a lot of similarly. Travis started by building custom just a small fyi.💯👌✌️🫡

Glad you enjoy and can appreciate. Had mine couple years and only one I keep grabbing to shoot. I have Buck rail moderator, which is great, as all of Terry’s creations, but mine is still about a “3”. With open sites, I have no problem hitting water bottle top at up to about 20 yards. FYI. the bottom of hand grip can be popped off and can be used for storage. To bad that didn’t set it up with a hinged access cover. Maybe an enthusiast with a printer will come up with one. Thanks! Enjoy maaan. 😀

Thanks, & thanks for the tip on the grip. I’ve been staring at it wondering if it was supposed to come off for storage. A hinged cover would be great, 👍🏻

One you get a hpa electric pump you'll never want to go to any thing else again. In the long run you will save so much money. Its a little hard at first but extremely worth it. Now you can get a pump for as little as 300$ in my opinion a really high dollars air pump not worth it because your most paying for accessories/add on. Wich can also be done to any low cost pump. The design are basically all the same. There only 2-3 styles of pumps made. The oring and add ons are easily to upgrade your self save easily 900$ a high end basically just mounted on a frame and accessories add. Id say it cost half the price to duplicate it your self . Once you run your airguns on hpa its hard to go back to anything else. The affordable and easy usage is a game changer. It makes you wonder why didn't i do this earlier. At least for me it was. That why i pertty much run and convert everything. Ill say one thing though there lots to know and learn before you just jump right in to it because it can be expensive if not knowing the currect things needed for you application and usage. It can detur a lot of people that don't completely understand whats needed and proper usage. Once fully understanding it's a breeze. Hpa for the win💯👌🥰🫡

Love seeing the joy on your face as you talk about it. It is fun, although I didn't realize it was such a chore to fill. I only have hand pumped my 3622, which is an easy 2k psi. But, I typically just use my small compressor for speed and ease. PCP is a slippery slope of fun for sure, and at the price you picked yours up for its a steal. ~Papa T

A slippery slope indeed. What kind of compressor are you using and do you like it?

@AlsAirguns I have a refurbished air venturi rovair, and I love it. It has auto-shutoff, AC or DC power, fairly quiet, and up to 4500 psi. I accidentally dropped it from a decent height due to a mistake on my part, and it continues on unphased. I just received a new compressor, which uses water and oil, but I haven't finished unboxing or setup yet. I have used a same model, but haven't paid attention to brand/model. It is a bit more setup, and no auto-shutoff, but higher capabilities. It will be better for higher pressures and capacities (like 4500 psi bottles or filling Texan from empty). I can get back to you on this if you'd like me to. One of the biggest I have seen recommended lately in the community is the GX brand, or vevor for cheap. The big thing is that air cooled compressors are great and convenient, but you should run no more than 5 minutes, then let cool for at least 15. They are more towards top off and smaller capacities. The water and oil units use special oil and are designed for high capacity/high pressure guns and bottles. ~Papa T

@ Outstanding information. This is extremely helpful. As I’m bitten and thoroughly infected by the PCP bug I’m personally very interested in the various pumps and compressors available. And specifically what are most people doing lately in addition to their successes and regrets along the way. It seems to me the majority of the information easily accessible online is primarily provided by the makers and sellers of the devices and information from customers who use them as well as independent reviews, comparisons is lacking. As a result of satisfying my own needs I would like to collect and publish videos where appropriate to make the journey easier for the many new shooters who come to embrace this most excellent pastime. So yes, I would love to hear more as your journey continues. Thanks Al…

Before you get any air tank or any type of storage ill explain a few things in my next message. That will save you quite a bit in the long run. It will make all you airguns universal basically by using and interchanging as you go and need. With out having to spend or end up with stuff you my not need. Also cheap and expensive whats worth buying or not buying. Have a great one till the next one 💯👍💪👌🫡😉

@AlsAirguns

My mags fit fine. I didn’t need the female quick release as both of my pumps are already configured that way. If you have one, why not give it a try?

Well I think you would potentially need it if the pump you were using was equipped with a different connector. I’m pretty new to pcp and the only pumps I have ever used have the female foster (1/4 “ I believe) Quick disconnect. When I looked at the parts that came with the Jet 1, that’s what I guessed was why it was included. I also noticed that those fittings and valves can sometimes malfunction when new. Example, the first time I filled the Jet 1 up when I opened the bleed valve on the pump the inlet valve in the gun stayed open and dumped the air in the tank. Now that I have used it a bunch everything works much more smoothly. Good luck and happy shooting

Have you fired an Umarex Notos? It's also fairly loud and pretty similar in size to the Jet. I have been tinkering around with ideas to quieten it up but haven't tried anything yet.

@@AlsAirguns I love it! Very similar feature set to your Jet. The only downside is the noise level, as I said. I am thinking of looking into some aftermarket 3d printed modifications to the moderator to help with that but nothing definite on my radar yet.
