Damn fine looking rifle. I see a few comments suggesting what I would check so Im just here to give support. My opinion has already been voiced by other wise minds. Stick with it homie. I am in the same boat ”aint gonna give up on a gun”. You have a great attitude towards adversity. Thats is a fine quality to have. Sending good vibes. Have a great rest of the weekend homie!

👋🏾sup brah! Imo ck list: clean barrel, is that and after market moderator? Try looking inside with flashlight. If you see a gray streaking at the end of the moderator then the pellet is clipping. If you still are not grouping then remove the moderator. Try again. Still not grouping remove the barrel shroud see if the pellet s group. If not, do a pellet to bore test but to do this you will have to remove the barrel from the receiver. Go to hardware store get a long metal rod that is smaller than the pellet skirt. Put a pellet in the barrel and hold the barrel downward lightly push the pellet with the rod you bought down the barrel. If the pellet drops down the the pellet catches the rifling, means the barrel not concentric down the length of the barrel= bad barrel braddah👊🏾😎

Heyup Hank, frustrating Hatsan' hey, had a few, try to make sure the shroud isn't overtightened at both ends, lose the moderator & try a different diameter pellet? If it's new it'll need pulling with a snake rather a few times due to the amount of grease they put in the barrel to store & transport them, great content, cheers buddy, Jon 👍Hawkes eye TV 👍🇬🇧😁

Hank I've always thought about getting a neutron star just thought they were a little pricey but on your accuracy concerns or problems I have noticed that if you have accuracy problems with a Hatsan it's 90% chance of bad Barrel I've had multiple bad barrels I ended up either selling the gun getting another Barrel or letting it sit on the Shelf

I have always liked the look of those Neutron Stars. Unfortunately It seems like a lot of them have problems. Like others have suggested, clean the barrel. Check the crown. Try it without the moderator, or try a different one. Check all of your scope bases and mounts. Try another scope. Can you you drop the speed down anymore? Maybe 850 fps-880 fps? Shroud tension could effect the accuracy. Try playing with that a little. If none of those work, I would say it has a bad barrel and needs to go back to Hatsan. I know how you feel. It is frustrating as Hell chasing accuracy issues like this. I own 3 Hatsans. .25 Flashpup .22 Flashwood Vectis .22 I never warmed up to that .25 Flashpup. It shoots OK. Nothing great. Very pellet picky. Best I have done with it is a little over an inch at 50 yards with the JSB MkII 33.95's at at around 730 fps on a good day. Meh. Not a very good shot count. A couple of mags on a fill and it's done. The Flashwood .22 is pellet picky as well. But with H&N 21gr Barracuda Match pellets at around 870 fps it shoots light out! Dime size 5 shot groups at 50 yards all day long! I ditched the OE shroud for a carbon fiber one and a carbon fiber Weinerdog ldc from Terminador Outdoors. After trying several ldc's I found the Weinerdog gave the best accuracy. Shot count is great! About 40 shots on a fill. The 22 Vectis I removed a spacer on the hammer spring and brought the speed way down on it. It was pellet picky too. I did find out that it likes the JSB 15.89gr Hades at around 880 fps. I haven't done any other mods to it. 5 shot nickel size groups at 50 yards most days. Shot count is 3 mags or 36 shots on a fill. I have found Hatsans to be kind of hit or miss, at least with the ones I own. If you win the Hatsan Lottery and get a good one, you love it. If you don't, you end up with a gun that pretty much pisses you off that you want to get rid of. I hope it all works out for you Brother.

Good morning that's beautiful gun I don't mean to be Nosy, but it sounds to me like you have a little too much dwelt time in the hammer. You might wanna Polish a hammer and lubricate it and maybe shuffle the hammer strike a little bit. Good luck brother
