I got the Blitz in .22 cal and I'm impressed! Hits hard and consistently at 30yds and at 50yds. Don't really have a range with 100yds, but I'm confident that with the groups I'm hitting at 50yds I can do fairly well at 100yds. I had bought 1500 .22 cal pellets and I have a BullBoss in .25 cal and since others were saying that .30 cal pellets are hard to find, I went with the .22 cal for the blitz. 🙂

Last fall I bought a Hatsan edge 25 cal break barrel for 85 bucks. It's a nice gun especially with alloy pellets. After watching this video I want to get the 30 cal blitz when I can afford it. 👍

I foolishly got the .25 since it was 20% off on Amazon, then realized it would have been better to go with the .30 for power or the .22 for shot count, but I still love the thing. My shooting is limited to 90 feet or 30 yards or so but even the .25 can shred 1/2inch plywood at that range with slugs, not every shot goes all the way through but you get significant back deformation. However the rate of fire and accuracy means landing multiple rounds so close you end up blowing shit apart. No matter what people say about airguns, you would not want to be on the business end of this thing.

I love mine in 30 cal. The rate of fire is insane. Holds POA, accurate, no problems or mis-fires so far. Runs like a sewing machine. Mag will not hold 30 cal PolyMags unless you trim the tips. Shoots slugs just fine. And as with just about any semi-auto PCP, do not shoot too low on pressure. They need the proper amount of air, to cycle properly.

True, mine will not cycle under 175Bar with a moderator on, not that big a deal, but you do need to be more careful because the green section can be a bit misleading, you can still manually rack to fire, considering switching springs but its only really an issue if you are going ham on full auto without your compressor nearby

I'm definitely getting this one to fully tune hope it has a easy out pressure valve / reg like the other Hatsan models to increase/decrease velocity because this .30 cal needs to be pushing that 44gr 7.62mm @ 840-975 fps to really be everything we always wanted in this type of pcp otherwise the .25 Cal is best in this model with 34gr JSB MK2,s in the 900-950 fps rage my 45 years of shooting air rifles telling me🤔

Nice for the automatic but for air gun if you use for hunting I think it will drain your air bottle in a second. When you walk a miles away from your refill tank it's useless for using that full auto. It's nice to have for backyard shooting.

Can that rifle be charged with Nitrogen?, As you may or may not know, Nitrogen isn't affected by ambient temperature, you'll probably experience more consistent accuracy being Nitrogen won't expand when its hot outside or contract when it's cold. The maker states the air tank can't be removed,bus that simply because it has a bolted bracket, or can the bracket be removed allowing the tank to be unscrewed for the rifle?, Would be nice if a larger air supply could be retrofitted with an adapter and hose attached to a regulated S.C.B.A. tank. Cool rifle at any rate.👍 Thanks for sharing your thoughts on the rifle.🇺🇸✌️

Trigger control is a learned thing. My guns triggers are in ounces; low single digits and consistent to the 10/th of an ounce. When people talk about trigger pulls that are measured in pounds, I just groan. Karl Kenyon said his triggers would consistently hold at a tenth of a gram. "Please, Sirs, I want some LESS!" Yes, I know; full and semi-auto, safety and more. Screw the "safety." let's have REAL Safety! Just keep your stupid finger outside the trigger guard until ready to shoot. then touch the trigger with the air boundary that surrounds your finger. That's heavy enough. Hold it there until ready to shoot. Then, touch the trigger. Let's have better trigger control, and let's insist on better triggers.

I must be doing something wrong. Mine arrived today and my FX radar says it's doing 655-666 consistently on 48 grain pellets. Any ideas ?

tjwrongway mead, according to my calculations, your rifle is doing much better than shooter's 48 x 655 x655 / 450436.6798 = 45.72 fpe 30 x 730 x730 / 450436.6798 = 35.50 fpe for shooter to get your fpe, he would have to shoot a 38.654 grain pellet 38.654 x 730 x730 / 450436.6798 = 45.72 fpe concentrate on getting the highest fpe, then make a range card for that pellet and stick with it.

@@jamesdenny4734 that is a good idea, better done with electronics than by mechanics though. Mechanical 3 round burst can wear out and just become full auto if the shooter doesn't keep the trigger fully depressed through the cycle.

Love it. You need to add destruction tests as well. Watermelon etc.. Mock up a prosciutto-rind (pig skin) target, put some juicy grapes behind the skin and shoot downrange. We want to see lethality and damage because it's a gun. This in .22 is the most impressive non-firearm weapon I've noticed yet.

This is a really great gun for several reasons but the trigger is pretty "stiff" and just be aware that its not adjustable.

Do you still have the bottle/barrel band on it? I ripped mine off and the gun shot over a foot higher than it previously did. Was wondering why I couldn't get my scope elevation set, maxed it out. Now its actually a free floating barrel, I can sight my scope in without ring shims and looks much better!

730 with a .30cal pellet is pretty good. my break action .30 puts out 540fps and hits at 75 yrds no problem. sure you can get some 800-900 fps .30 calls but you sacrifice some speed to be full auto.

@@gkman815 540fps of course it will hit at 75 yards....my slingshots can lob a rock 100+ yards....so i believe you....but if you had a .25 at 850-900 fps its trajectory would be much flatter, at 36fpe in .22 might even be over powered as 30fpe is the standart for accuracy in .22...but a heavier pellet might compensate and keep speed down...plus this is a semi/auto and a hatsan things that usually doesnt mean accuracy in airgunning

@John D Hey man I have a quick question. I just ordered my Sk-19 and I was planning on cancelling my order of the Blitz because even though the SK-19 is a smaller caliber (25 cal), it has more FPE. But you mentioned you kept your Blitz. Why did you keep it? Which gun do you think is better and more powerful for hunting power? I like the look of the Blitz and the bigger caliber (but I think the .25 SK-19 would have more killing power). I dunno if I can get away with $3K for both these guns so I may have to cancel the Blitz. But your insight would be appreciated.

@John D Haha thanks for the reply. Much appreciated. You just talked me into keeping the Blitz I think. I do like the look of the gun and I already bought a ton of .30 pellets. I got a Hatsan Invader like 25 days ago and I'm hoping they take it back so I can at least put $600 toward the Blitz. The Invader came with a couple of defects so hopefully they'll refund me. I got it in .25 cal. Good gun but heavy and long compared to the SK. Even the Blitz is lighter. Probably the CF bottle. Anyway good times. God bless and stay safe!

Hell of a cycle rate. Now you might just have to sale your arm and a leg just to be able to afford .30 caliber pellets to shoot it. Hope it comes in smaller more affordable calibers. I like this gun and your honest reviews but I am sticking with my LCS SK-19. It’s way more accurate even on full auto 1/2” @50yards and it’s a .22. Better ammo selection and way cheaper to shoot. If you had a .30 cal mold for pellets, this gun would be a great way to spend time with friends and family. The cycle rate is more than double the SK-19 but not being regulated allows this. Great gun for almost half of what I paid for my SK-19. . Martial law Monday so I hear. Stay home stay safe God bless.

comes in .22 .25 and .30 you got a few calibers to choose from. 1000+ fps and 21 round mag in .22cal

yeah but pcp airgunning likes about 900 fps in just about any caliber ....low enough to be out of the transonic zone and fast enough to have the flasttest trajectory....slugs are different, im talking pellets

@@CygnusX250 what's a sone ? lol.... why shoot a .30 @ 730 fps might as well shoot a .25 ... !.... they could at least kick it up to 850 fps.

@@jamesdenny4734 same as a zone...dyslexia is a serious condition :-)........i agree 850 and yeah i could live with that...but the whole point is going down one cal to 25 you will have a flatter trajectory, cost half as much to shoot....go down 1 more to .22 and its would be mid 950 fps.....with all that being said i had an FX monsoon and what a pain in the neck that was....light pellets=jam....heavy pellets=jam....jsb 16 and 18 gr was all it would eat....i wonder how this is going to be...is there a piston in the shroud that actuates it....is it built into the valve....is it the trigger cycling it ?

I'm pretty new to pcp rifles really don't know how to tune rifles did you do any tuning to the gun and have you ever tried slugs though a hatsan

cb62 benson No tuning was done to this gun . I do shoot slugs in Hatsan guns and they shoot very well .

in 30 cal? around 730. thats what the company claims and they measure with the lightest ammo available
