Thank you for sharing these older videos. I remember when all of Soke's teachings were just called the Togakure Ryu. Those were wondrous times. Concepts like moving in all directions, moving out of the way and striking the attackers' limbs, and principles where anything can be a weapon, were amazing realizations for me back then. It was transformative. magical! Thank you again, for sharing. Ninpo-ikkan!

I still don't quite understand the twirling head strike being done.. yes I've practiced and am a practioner of the staff arts so I know it well, I just can't get the hang of that one technique too well ha! I can't get any power behind it. Any advice?

Junk. Imagine having a real sword and being attacked by someone else with a sword. And being fool enough to hold the sword in one hand instead of two. Why do so many seek the easy, “magical” self defense? I guess cause it’s easy!

Sorry. Is title in Japanese? I just looked at the video. If title describes how to practice cool looking and totally dangerous and ineffective bs , then sorry again!

It’s not supposed to mimic a sword fight? What the hell is it? It’s foolish in every way!

Maybe I’m not as ignorant in the topic of valid martial arts as you think. Please explain the practicality of these techniques. I can tell you from my experience and trained eye that it’s highly flawed.

@@georgekondylis6723 No I think everyone can see how ignorant you are... if you cant read simple youtube title which EXPLAINS what it is demonstrating than you have lose all relevance...

@@georgekondylis6723 It's not supposed to mimic anything. It's what it is. Fighting with a stick. Don't criticize what you know nothing about.
