I still think that the true definition of the “gift” Margarita gave to her town should have been held off until just before the last chorus- sort of like a last minute realization, when it’s too late to do anything.

I always felt it should've been in the background of the wedding scene in the original PV (around 4:00 here, where the music slows down a bit). You could have the original English definition in the background during the instrumental break, then have it warp into the German one just before she begins singing again, so you have time to both understand what the Gift is and also to hear her give her justification (her saying she sought hope).

So after Elluka goes to Margarita and sees her commit suicide, she meets in Held's forest with Gumillia to talk with Michaela, then the doll comes by and tells Elluka to meet her at the old house, where they have a confrontation and Elluka absorbs Eve into her. After this are the events of pierrot and after pierrot was the duel of merrigod plateau where Ma gets formed
