My theroy from what the lyrics say and the video is that this is a song about a nurse who tries to help save people but can't seem to save herself either.The hospital she works at discovers a solution to end all the suicides and depressed people by mass producing a drug similar to heroin that makes you feel euphoria and happiness but also a numb almost paralyzed state. Soon people start requesting it all the time because of the quick effects that can cause them to delude themselves that what they are feeling is true happiness.My theroy to why the nurse has her arm in a sling is that she has also fallen into drug addiction with the drug the hospital produces on a daily basis. When you see her turn white when the screen flashes,she no longer has the sling,probably the drug telling her that she's not in pain or sad or any negative emotions.Shes also doing that smile that people do when they are doing something illegal. Its just a theory of course but it seemed like this is the most likely conclusion :) (I just noticed she does have the sling still,sorry but the rest of my theroy I'm sure Is at least slightly close to the true story)
