Me singing along, decides to look up the English lyrics, this songs name is translated to dance of the corpses, its about abandoning the living and joining the dead, Kikuo you've done it again.

@@Kali_Angel.yeah it's a song with hatsune mikus voice, which I love
Makes me imagine a ballroom dance with a bunch of dead characters,each one wearing makeup representing how they met their fate(example:Grelle Sutcliff from Black Butler(manga readers who’ve gotten far will understand)),all while Miku is singing,Monika is playing the violin,and Lain is playing the piano.
Everyone gangsta till this starts playing at the cemetery

The fact that the song actually embraces the darkness makes it super comforting, and I think that comfort is what makes us willing to continue living, if even just for a bit longer, knowing that someone else out there feels the same way. 10 years, and still one of my favourite songs ❤

it makes me even more mad that they dont acknowledge any of the songs meanings. People treat Gomenne Gomenne like a joke and then dont even credit Kikuo, its sad :/
My favorite thing about the song is that when you take one of your earbuds/headphones speakers away from your ear it has a different tone. In my right it’s more luring, and enticing, in my left it’s trying to be joyful. Kikuo you have slapped me in the face and I thank you lmao Edit, a year later: JESUS YALL ATE THIS UP

One side for me is a viola and other side is violin instrumental
@g0wblin__ Жыл бұрын
i’d say it’s due to the deeper violin? sound and general base sounds in the right ear that make it sound more serious, while the left maintains a higher pitch to have more of a playful, welcoming aura. that’s our kikuo for ya 😃
To me what makes this song so creepy isn't just the lyrics The tiny figures dancing alongside each other which is usually an innocent way to have fun being given in such a tragic context is what make this so eerie, as well as the colors flashing on the faces of the figures, colors which are often thought of as childish and again innocent, representing that these people are losing their identity during this dance that repeats over and over symbolizing that making the decision to "dance with the corpses" is forever and never ending As well as the voice singing sounds like an invitation, a feminine voice kindly asking you to dance with this disturbing instrumental that sometimes feels like it wants you to lose all ability to hear anything but this song is what makes this piece of art so frighteningly beautiful
@Mx.muffin Жыл бұрын
With this context, the song gives me a kind of "You'll die, but who will remember you after?" With the identity being lost part
