As everyone else has been commenting, these coaches really are something else. So glad to have pre-ordered some of these GWR coaches!

These look so much better than the Hornby ones. I am glad you have painted samples of the GWR versions as they are the ones I have pre ordered.

I was impressed by reviews of the "Engineering" samples, but these look so much better painted up. The Hornby ones look nice, but overpriced, these look far better and nearly the same price. Well done Hattons.
@bentullett60683 жыл бұрын
The hornby versions look like they were rushed to get them to the market before the Hattons ones.
@johnf3f8103 жыл бұрын
@@bentullett6068 I agree, they didn't want the competition and they look to have produced an inferior product as a result.
@bendavis61213 жыл бұрын
Me to John f3f I really like "Engineering" samples reviews want Samstrains and Jennifer Kirk did. Sorry, but Hornby one does look rushed so there could beat the competition. Great to see the Hatton's one running and having no light bleeding on the model wants the Hornby light one has. The Hornby one does look plastic and cheaper and the Hatton one looks much better with more Finely detailed and having axle box move freely so it looks like the wheel is Kinect to the axle box want the Hornby does not have and show how easy it would be for Hornby to do. Do agree with you John f3f with the Hornby one being around the same price I would pay a little bit more for better quality products. Well done Hattons because who did an amazing job if a could see you now I would be tipping my hats to you. If the Hornby one was cheaper down to £20 (Not light) £25 (With Lights) I would be ok with them but when is only £ 4-pound differents the details show be up there because if Hatton can do it why not Hornby. But keep safe John f3f in these hard times.

Well, honestly, I was considering buying the Hornby models, but the high quality and low price differential between them and the Hattons models makes me reconsider my planning. I'm in for a complete set in all big fours and BR early emblem, and that would be the Hattons model. I don't want to reward a manufacturer who sells overpriced inferior products.
@bentullett60683 жыл бұрын
@@OlivierGabin I was set on the Hattons Genesis coaches from day one of the project and was so suprised when hornby launched their ones. Now I know why Hattons said there was enough room in the market for both the Hattons and hornby carriages to exist as they have probably looked at the pictures of the hornby versions before we saw them and realised that the detail wasn't as great as their own coaches.

Absolutely Outstanding!!! Cannot wait! Clearly Hattons doesn't care about my financial well being haha. I'm spending close to $2000 on all these coaches and do not care one bit haha. Superior quality compared to Hornby's for relatively the same price. Thank you so much Hattons for making such an outstanding product!

Me to nintendofanlp I don't care want people think about me ordering over 13 coaches as I got (NCB blue, LNWR, L&Y brown & umber) on pre-order. So far it coasts me over £300 and mum going to give me some money as I want some for my birthday in May times. Plus because there look that amazing then I high chance of me pre-order more in Batch 3 ( SDJR, Metropolitan Railway) Can't wait to see more painted samples in (NCB blue, LNWR, L&Y brown & umber) nintendofanlp. If there keep looking this good there I high chance of me order some more nintendofanlp in (LNER pre-war brown, BR crimson) Because I can't wait to see the wood effect on LNER pre-war Brown and Metropolitan Railway nintendofanlp. What Liveries Have who order nintendofanlp from the Hattons Genesis Coaches? But keep safe nintendofanlp in these hard times.

These look the bee's knees! Looking forward to the SECR set I've ordered. A minor point but for oil or gas lamps that lighting is rather bright.

I so looked forward to getting my LMS coaches, especially as I thought they would look the part behind my recent purchase of Novelty. After a year of waiting on a pre-order I was informed that they were sold out! absolutely gutted is putting it mildly. Surely numbers of coaches against pre-orders are manufactured accordingly if not what is the point of a pre-order.

Craig's Classics I've yet to hear about delivery of my already purchased LNWR coaches. We're in late august 2021 at time of writing.

Omg, I really love the video Hattons and GWR one looks amazing much better than the Hornby Model Railways one. Great to see them running and it great to see there no light bleeding on the model. But would love to see a video Hattons Model Railways on (NCB blue, LNWR, L&Y brown & umber) the Genesis coaches painted samples thanks Hattons. But keep safe Hattons in these hard times.

Hey Hattons! I have a question for you guys. There is a older used Hornby terrier that says “wobbly runner”. What does that really mean? Is it an inconsistent runner or does it oscillate? Hope to hear back from you guys soon. Your customer Ben. Edit, under another one it says “brake rodding removed”. What is brake rodding?
