OMG I totally lost my drawers when Ted lost his patience😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 then after the song father shoots the tv😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂. My good old dad loved this show and used to tell me stories about it. Sadly my dad passed away in 2015 but I can understand why he loved it. Great humor.

I just came back to watching Father Ted, and it's brilliantly scripted and acted. Wonderful. But you know what reminded me of it? Graham Lineham, who wrote most most of it, has been "cancelled" by the terrible "cancel culture" for actually standing up for womens' rights etc. It's complicated and you'd have to look into it for yourself - but he's not been able to find any work since 2018 since this terrible cancel culture horror. I feel for him. You can look up all about it by just putting his name into KZbin. At least he's not been "cancelled" from that ... yet. He was working for five years on a Father Ted musical - but that is also cancelled - because he wrote it!
