The token is a copy of the actual card, just as a 1/1. Being a copy of a card gives it the same mana value as the original card, in this case 3, so big enough to survive the lockdown 👍

Been a bad rotation/set release if you ask me. WOTC destroyed BO1. Nothing but mono red which if you can believe it is even MORE consistent than it was before rotation. What a joke. If it wasn’t for creators like you Swayze making cool decklists like this I would have told WOTC to shove it 2 set releases ago.

Standard is in a weird place. You either win by turn 3 or not at all, which should be the sole domain of historic or explorer.

@@OchsSlayer I agree. I know by turn 3 how the game is going to turn out regardless of me going first. The ladder system for BO1 is destroyed as well. Good luck getting to mythic relatively fast using anything other than mono red. It honestly just makes me sad. Swayze makes these SICK decks and I’m excited until I see a mountain hit the field and then I wanna just die.
