Obviously hindsight and all, but it seemed like when you had the two Obs at 37 minutes and were worried about Invoke Despair, minusing one for a devil would have been great. Instead of dealing 2 off the bat, if they Invoke, you deal them 1, deny them a card and save 2 life, and then sac the Ob you minused. If they don’t invoke it sits there to hedge against the bankbuster or even swings at some point. The devil does a ton there. Part of why content like this is great is that it’s easier to sit back and watch than to play while providing good real time commentary for us, so of course stuff happens. But it’s a great reminder how strong Ob still is against popular pieces in this meta. Thanks for the video, love this deck!

In reference to devils from Ob, I get you don't care about life total but the extra body, and spot damage comes in handy.

I removed 2 grasp, 1 throat and added 2 eaten alive. Also went with less land and added 2 Kumano. I like the extra counter on dragon engine or tenacious to bypass cut down

Seconded / swap your central filter for a much finer (albeit $$$) higher grade one as well You can get all ducts in a house cleaned for as low as $200/1K sq ft

I was thinking Lagomos would be a nice addition to this deck, adding significant attacking power to the board each turn. Unfortunately, the creatures are only created at the start of combat and there’s no time to attach equipment to them before they attack. Still… something to consider

Yeah that's the drawback, but the hastyness is just great. And even if you cannot attack because of blockers, you can still attach them and/or sacc for Ob Nixilis.

I like the deck but I would replace Ob with Reckless Stormseeker. I have found that, that card makes the Mishra meld a lot easier. Plus its a haste option to help hit damage faster.

Body dropper, Lagomos Hand of Hatred, Ob Nixolis, and a lot of cannon fodder to sacrifice and deal damage while ramping up own cards (splatter goblin is my preferred). 3 copies of burning down the house and splash white for removal or enchantment counter, and I end it with dreadfast demon to end the board with 10 copies of that if needed to end game.

Eight removal spells and no cut down. You won't be able to double spell (creature + removal) consistently in the early turns. That gives your opponent space to breath.

In my experience, an aggro deck that tops out at 4, I would only be running 23 lands. From the other videos of yours that I've seen, you often play more midrange/combo decks that do need the 25/26 land count

Hey man For an arena youtuber, you're really a natural. Enjoying your content very much, both your creativity, skill and communication. I just happen to be listening on my studio head phones. And your low end audio needs some equalizing. If you can apply a high pass filter to your audio, you can remove all the super low frequencies that messes up the sound. Only relevant for viewers who listen on sound systems or head phones. Thought I'd let you know. Peace :)

Since the devil still does one dmg when it does you should literally never not make the devil unless it's the game winning attack. An attacker or blocker plus life gain from two ob mix is much better than 1dmg lol
