Every single year around this time I’m jealous I don’t live in the US. You guys have such amazing Halloween decor!😭 In Norway it’s mostly just cheap and plastic items… I have tried ordering from abroad, but it gets sooo expensive because of customs etc. And sites like Home Goods don’t ship here😭

That’s so odd. The architecture in Norway is very gothic, and I know Norway is famous for the literal black church. Also a lot of Halloween decor involves or is influenced by Norwegian culture cause in America a lot of people like Norwegian metal which people tie to Halloween cause metal is apparently spooky.

Meatloaf skeletons sound fully hilarious. Also, where did you get the punkin lantern with the witchy hat on? Martha Stewart stuff surprised me. My first thought when you mention her name is the flames of Hell but she has an excellent brand of multisurface paint and I got some window decals of hers on Halloween clearance and let me tell you... I’ve had two bats and two ravens on my car windows for more years than I even know, one inside, one out so the ravens are mirrored, and then haven’t fallen off. I think they were even repositioned and my cars are still marked with the ravens and bats.

To peel a sticker off of something without it having that tacky, sticky, residue left or to make it easier to peel in one lift, take a hairdryer to it first and warm the sticker then slowly peel it off. Works like a charm!!!

You know what also works. Putting water on the sticker area of the item and then putting cooking oil on it and rubbing it off. Wash it with water after. You will see no sticky residue at all. Works amazing

They had such good styles it was hard to only get 4. Love your haul!! I had those same skull Martha Stewart candle holders in my hand and left them behind bc of the metallic flake. For your lamps, you could also sand the wood down and then do a black stain instead of painting so you can still see the grain

I am obsessed with Halloween napkins! I don’t know why! I am not buying much this year as I am moving but I did pick up some at Dollar Tree and probably get some from Walmart. I am on the fence about Ray Dunn , but I love everything you bought! I adore the casserole pan and the pumpkin mug. I have none of those stores but had a blast seeing what you found!

The apron with the ghosts was so cute, you could use a black sharpie on the unwanted haunt it text to make it disappear. Sharpie works better then fabric paint on coverage and on not bleeding in the wash, you could try just one spot in a lower corner to test and see if it will do good enough.

Glitter/Silver that transfer tip: if you spray it with hairspray or clear spray paint it will prevent transferring on skin or surface...just a helpful tip if you want to try and prevent a mess with your skull sculptures. 😊

Omg FAO Schwartz nostalgia. The only pieces I really want this year are the tree jewelry holder from the Target Dollar Spot/Bullseye's Playground and a skull hinger canister from Home Goods/TJ Maxx to hold my coffee. I didn't see the skull canister before, but they had a cute ceramic pumpkin one. I shouldn't've got it though because the ceramic slowly chips off around the metal closure part.

Love it 😍 I got the spooky house dishes from England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 with witches in the window and garland draping around the dish with jack o lanterns on it ! All black -grey and white! So in love with this find this year ! You’re right u have to hunt for pieces every year ! Was able to get the plates and salad plates but no bowls or serving plates-which I’ve seen others post them ! I knew you’d get the silver skull canister! I saw it and immediately thought this is you !

That candle with the spiders 👀👀 I love it wonder how it looks with light on, and on a stand. Also skeleton meatloaf sounds amazing, we think alike lol, I want the fall/spooky foods already 🥺 I went to target when I was traveling and found some great amber pieces and candles for fall and spooky socks which I’m in love with, also went to think was home goods or at home, and they also had this great pumpkin collection, I got a ceramic pumpkin candle and I just love it especially when it’s lit it has such a nice glow as it has all these little like lighter sparkly circles on inside. I can’t wait till I move out and get my own place and can decorate and celebrate the holidays as I want and spookiness year round. Also if you haven’t, at Lowe’s they have awesome little shelf spooky pots/decor with air plants in them

To help with the glitter/gold leaf issue - go to Home Depot and pick up some clear Rustoleum spray paint. They have it in both gloss and matte. But, I think you will want gloss for the candlesticks. A quick coat should protect both the candlesticks and your hands from the glitter.

These mugs are also stinking cute! I’m tempted every time I see them but I do not drink hot coffee and I don’t actually use mugs for anything at all so it’s hard to justify buying them. I wish they had more of the stackable said some things like bowls or glasses for water or other cold drinks. And that casserole dish is so stinking adorable!

You can spray the silver candle holder with a spray sealer and the silver stuff should stop coming off. You can get it at places like Michaels.

My favorite item I got this year is this skull lamp. It's silver and has a big Edison style light bulb on top with no shade. And it's a pretty big lamp too. My restrictive diet had overwhelmed me ( still does sometimes), but when u show you can do gluten free dairy free versions of recipes, it opened doors to possibilities. I am not 100% gluten free but I am trying.
