What ever happened to the “beautiful game” episodes?

I want to make a finale episode for that series, but the elements of that series will be incorporated into this one.

What settings do you use to record to get such a smooth recording? I stream this game on twitch with fiber optic internet and it’s still choppy a bit. I have ryzen 7 3700 cpu with Radeon 5700 gpu. I stream/record at 6000 bitrate, using the N290 or whatever it’s called encoder (the cpu to encode) on very fast preset. What encoder do you use? What bitrate? Any additional settings / hardware you can share that make your trains not choppy when you record? For what it’s worth, when I play this game on max settings when not streaming I don’t get the slight choppiness. I’m thinking it might be webcam or music in background even tho I put webcam to 360p resolution. The only other thing I can think of is if I should change my encoder back to AMD and run off the Radeon 5700 gpu. I’ve just heard it was worse than running off the software encoder that uses my cpu. Thoughts?

Hey! I've struggled a bit to get the framerate smooth too. The fix I found was to set my 144Hz monitor to 60Hz, to match my second monitor. Apparently something in OBS, Windows or on my GPU doesn't like it when I use two monitors with different refresh rates. The recording turned out choppy even tho the graphics in-game was silky smooth. My settings in OBS: Variable bit rate; 40000 (max: 60000), quality preset, encoder: NVIDIA NVENC H.264 (New). My rig: Core i7 8700, RTX 2070 super (should be equivalent to your GPU, if I'm not mistaken). I hope you solve your problems! This game deserves to be presented properly!

Fredbreaks thanks. I noticed it does this slight stuttering when not streaming too. I’m going to try turning my monitor refresh rate from 144 to 60 like you mentioned. I also turned off vsync in the ts 2 settings.lua file. I heard this could be an issue with frame timing as my gpu and cpu aren’t being very burdened by the game. Will have to try a few combinations of settings.
