Ya see what ya do is put some some wood blocks at the corners, let the load down, then have him just back out, then pick up just slightly to pull the blocks out, it makes for really easy loading and getting the lift out..I've done hundreds of them.

I bought a 20’ about 2 years ago. It was $2600. + tax delivered. Mine was slightly used - a new one 20’ was like $4600. He also offered to paint it any color for $200.00 - also a heads up check your local zoning laws. After I got it found out later - not allowed in my town. Put a harbor freight tarp over it & that’s it looks like a travel trailer under a tarp. Well not really it looks like a shipping container under a tarp, but I tried & no news is good news.

How much dose a standard less than 20foot trailer weight in pounds or kilograms , 2460libras lb to the tonne right? Iso on wiki said up to 64000 pounds or maybe 2200tons. The dolly idea looks more practice than 18wheeler large scale air brake ,no ?

That was shaky. Lucky you had no mishaps. Good job getting it off trailer. A tilting trailer would have made it easier. I have a duallie pickup, but think I'd pay for delivery.

Crossing chains is bullshit. If one breaks, the load can move sideways and and actually slide clear off the trailer. You want as short as possible and as straight as possible inline or across to an anchor point.

What a poor excuse for a trailer. The two axles did not appear to have an equalizer between them, this would have distributed the weight equally, between the axles. It's clear from the video, the rear axle was carrying more load. I don't see traditional axles under the trailer. Might be torsion axles, if so, lowering the front of the trailer by adjusting the 5th wheel coupler, would have been advisable. Worn out tire, and low tires? Not cool, unprofessional, no wonder FMCSA rammed DOT onto states in 1989

Just so you know... When you call it a 1 ship container.. The correct term is a TEU. That is how its refereed to in shipping industries... TEU stands for Twenty foot equivalent unit. So a 20' Container is 1TEU.. a 40' container is 2 TEU... Just a little usless knowledge for you. Looks like you got one thats in really good condition and hope turns out well..
