This was by far one of my favorite adventures you have taken. You and Tori are outstanding parents. A lot of people would just stay home rather than deal with the difficulties of taking care of children in the wild. Well done, both of you! Wesley's smile said it all. He really was thriving. This is too cool. I immediately recognized where you were. I came from the other direction. I sailed, 30' sailboat, north from Sarnia, and one of the stops was the French River. There are 5 outfalls from the French into Georgian Baye. At that point my son and I threw the canoe into the water, portaged up the outfall, and into the French River complex. And even a side explore of the beaver pond. Water was higher, paddled over the beaver dam in both directions. By the appearance,, gotta be the same one,,, but realistically,, there are likely dozens that look the same. Incredible place to go for a family canoe. camp outing. Laughing,, Gabe and I did it with a credit card for gear. There are a dozen old time lodges sprinkled around the complex. lunch, dinner, place to stay, paddled back to the sailboat late.

This has been a wonderful adventure with you, Tori, the boys, & North.. I loved seeing Wesleys smiles throughout the trip. I loved Hudson mimick his Dad & his 'lil paddle. I loved seeing the last morning with the sunrise & mist coming off the river. Turtles sunning was neat to see! Dearly loved hearing you singing for/with Tori. Precious!

My grandfather, b 1900 fished Nipissing & The French. My son was a canoe guide for The Boyscouts “working” from The Tinnerman Scout base. I had the pleasure of taking my father up one year although we didn’t treck. 4 generations of my family have paddled that river. You have a start. I wish you the same. What an incredible journey. What I like the most about the series is definetively Westley's smiles. But also, the beautifull shot of nature, the seemingly harmonious familly travel on the river and the peacefull shot of the familly at the campfire. This trip was a nice contrast to the adrenaline and brut force filled journey you post most of the time. It is a nice reminder that you don't necessarly need to be a bushman in its prime to enjoy nature. Thanks for bringing us alone and best wishes to you and your beautifull familly.

Wow...with Wesley's smiles and Huddy's fishing and paddling, this was priceless. Wesley sure seems to love the outdoors. Bittersweet for us as well, LOLOL! However we know that the next adventure is just around the corner as the boys get older and with different challenges to adjust to! Huddie and that paddle and fishing rod and to see him taking in his ride while dragging the canoe...he is so attentive and will learn quickly. Wesley, oh my goodness... he sure did enjoy this too. You make me want to do life all over again...I want a "Do Over" LOLOL (Life passes so quickly)! THANKS so much for giving inspiration to many and sharing your very well earned lives with us. Recognize that you have to allow for the little things to stay little and have such joy over the hurdles and planning for the next adventure which you both manage so well and to hear Huddie's echo of "Yay" is beyond wonderful!
