Hey Josh! Here's a tip you might try on your prop. I work with metals in water environments. After cleaning the prop, try using a high speed buffing wheel and polishing compound to buff the prop to a shine. This will make it harder for the barnacles to stick to the slippery surface. Just a thought.

The technical proper name for that prop I think is a feathering prop. At least thats what its called when it folds, its feathering. Same as an aircraft prop. Some can turn to feather the air. reducing drag

For me, it's fun watching Yosh work on the boat. The maintenance on a boat, especially an older boat is one thing you have stay on top of, and it's always fun cause your always bringing the boat up to a better condition than it just was.

All boats should have alot less maintenance and more fun exploring. All you did was to remind me how much work I have to do yet..Yeck! With this virus getting worse it seems here in Florida, that's all I have time to do is work on this big beast. Our Marina has completely closed. Only 5 liveaboards here to include us. Pretty quite around here, I like it... Keep safe and healthy.

Hi, we escaped Thailand as the visa is much shorter and were lucky to sneak into Langkawi Malaysia 2 days before they shut their borders! We have a longer visa here so stuck but its okay!

I've seen Lanolin (Wool Grease) used on Brass Props after warming the prop with a large LPG Torch...
