Hauling Wheat to the Elevator in a Real Gravity Wagon

Date: 6/29-30/2022
I’m this video I am getting the Brent gravity wagon hooked to the tractor and ready to go. I found someone to cut my wheat and dad came over to run the tractor and wagon. Then I haul the wheat to the elevator with my truck.

The best thing about gravity wagons is that they are cheap to maintain.

Enjoys your videos. The only thing I take issue with is hauling the load with your kids. Too dangerous to take chances. Sometimes those brakes dont work and it was already overloaded for an 8000# pickup. Even 450 bu is 27000# .

Yeah we all do what we have to do. This was a 1 time thing and we were going somewhere after we dropped the wagon off. They wouldn’t have come if all I was doing is taking the grain to the elevator. But I never went over 20 mph and had no issues with stopping looking ahead. This isn’t the most weight I’ve had on this truck but it is different being on a wagon with no added weight to the truck. I’ll probably never do it again but it was definitely safer than pulling 2 smaller ones which is what I was going to do without the big wagon.
