Bakers Haulover Inlet is a man-made inlet created in 1925 connecting Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean . In 1926 a hurricane destroyed the bulkhead and jetty on the ocean side of the inlet. In 1927 two 700 foot long steel sheet pile jetties were constructed 325 feet apart on the north and south sides.

The Boat with the seven kids sitting at the bow, I guess the owner has no appreciation for life. Maybe the kids don't belong to him. I'm supprised the Police did'nt ticket him for the endangerment of lives.
