Hi Michael, I have debated posting this comment because anyone who knows me knows what I'm about to say is not usually me but I'm keeping it real. Each time we go to Roller Mills we spend well over $100 everytime. The girl at the register made sure to stand over me to make sure I wasn't ripping anything off but when it came to checking out it was the worst customer service we ever had in our lives. And this is not the first time. I will never stop in there again even if they were giving things away. I was fuming when I left. Just keeping it REAL!!!!

I think this is one of your best shopping trips. I absolutely loved everything, including the creepy marionette. My favourite finds were all the boxes. However I was screaming at the screen once you found the postcards. I kept screaming, "Get all of them!". Obviously you heard me, and you did! ETA: how could I forget the hair receiver! What a great find!!

Hair receivers were used to make hair rats and collect hair for stuffing items like pillows. That hair isn't used to create the jewelry. It is too hard to use that matted mess of hair for that. To make the jewelry you have to intentionally cut a lock of hair for the person alive or unalive. An example of hair jewelry from the living is hair watch fobs. They were commonly gifts given to lovers and the hair was from their bride prior to weddings.

I loved those angels too. Not to blingy but nice patina I still own my leather horse. OMG love those babies!!!! Those Siamese cats are so cute!!!! Love all the fruitchildres. How grate to display Love the litle boxes too. Thank you for sharing

l'm sorry, Michael, I know it was a different time and all, but every time I see a hair receiver, no matter how nice it looks, it grosses me out. Did you notice the figure to the left of the Homeco snow man that you were inspecting? That was one pissed off looking Santa! The score of the day had to be the postcards. You just dont see that many Halloween postcards out in the marketplace. When you do, they are very expensive- somtimes as much as $25 each! Had a fun time shopping with you, as always! Let's do it again soon. 🙂

Michael- how can you tell the difference between My Toys Santas and Rushton Santas? Is it something in their faces? Obviously if they have their original tags it’s easy to tell but you seem to be able to look at them and identify them by sight.
