At night, little gnomes (leprechauns?) come out and paint some of the strawberries white just to mess with people. It's perfectly natural.

How good was that man offering to film inside. You are right though, not creepy, just like a derelict building really. I have never seen white strawberries either. The burger meal looked better than your earlier meal. The milkshakes are worth it by the sounds of it. Food in the Phillipines is not a patch on what you eat in Thailand, everything in Thailand is freshly cooked, tasty and hot! How is your companion liking Baguio? It is very busy there so a popular place to visit and live I guess. Thanks Tom, great vlog.

Everybody loves Baguio! Been there many times, but only on one day visits. Last time was while driving through coming from Isabela province. Wanted to visit the strawberry fields, but got lost! After that went to mountain province up to Buguias and Mankayan and further downhill to Cervantes and to Ilocos sur and up to Laoag. Will now be going there this month to buy some strawberries, yummy! Also the vegetables are dirt cheap and fresh there to. Really I love it up there even though the roads are very zigzagged so not much speed can be obtained, but the views are amazing!

Wow Tom you're great at multi tasking. Be careful though, it is scary driving in the Philippines. When I'm there visiting family it freaks me out. They make their own lanes, no car seats for kids and I've seen babies squished between two adults on a motorbike. Just be careful because we want to see more Roaming Hogan adventures. Enjoy!

It's busy there during the week-end specially during summer because of cooler temperature. People drive up there from Manila just to cool-off from the extreme heat and humidity.

There are so many drivers here that don’t follow the road rules. Moved here from the 🇺🇸 and it’s difficult to adjust to lots of unlawful drivers. I 💚 monggo especially if it’s cooked in coconut milk. That Haunted Hotel looks nice. It doesn’t look scary at all. Thanks for the tour.

White strawberries (or pineberries) are from Japan. They were engineered to be sweeter than red strawberries. I have heard that red strawberries get their color from exposure to sunlight, so I think they may reduce direct sunlight when pineberries are ripening.

I guess because they're just invested in MJ's and Tom's relationship that lasted for quite long. Tom unfortunately left MJ that broke her heart. She went to Baguio after their break up for some healing. They may have moved on from each other but perhaps not really forgetting each other. From time to time, they still reference each other. In her vlog today, MJ mentioned being in an LDR relationship with someone before, which was hard, and she really doesn't like LDR. Tom can also make reference to MJ from time to time. In an interview while in Thailand, he mentioned being in a serious relationship with a Filipina for 3 years who's MJ. He also mentioned living in the countryside in Cebu which was MJ's place. The two of them may not realize it but they made some fond memories together and that's one reason they can inadvertently reference each other from time to time.

If you notice no tricycles in Baguio so areas like session rd motorcycle are not allowed. Just came back from Philippine vacation and went home to Baguio after trips down south. Notice you have been to the attractions but I don’t think you seem everything such as John hay, botanical garden and etc

Strawberry picking used to be PHP 500.00 before the pandemic. When I went there last December it's already PHP 700.00. I ended up picking lettuce and got it for PHP 30.00 for half a kilo😊

The ruins of the Diplomat hotel are a shadow of what they must have been as a retreat for priests and nuns when first built and then a hotel. Apparently the government is looking into renovating or restoring it. The strawberries can be kept white by limiting their exposure to sunlight before they turn red in the sun, not unlike Irish people in that respect.
